Mike, don't kungfu me please. You can always get it from Nezu but I'm from far far away leh and I got so many to feed, 7 syrians at home now. Luckily I ordered in advance, i thought you already stock up before hand mah, don't know the smoothie will be out of stock also as the business was too good. I give you , HAHAHA...

I just got a pair of hamsters for my birthday... hahaha

My friend a bit blur though.. she never ask bout the age and breed and stuff... but from what i see i think they are syrians.. cos the first day when they still in the same cage they were fighting quite a bit..

but now i put in separate cages already...
Named them Ebony & Ivory.. hehe

Both still don't let me carry much.. i have to struggle to catch them... is that normal?

and i though female hamsters were more aggresive than male hamsters... but Ivory (female) is nicer to me than Ebony.... he bites hard!

btw, another member's WW hamsters are named Ebony and Ivory too.

My female is also a lot tamer than my male when they firs arrived. It depends on how your hammies were brought up, as in how much human contact they had. Roche was born in a home breeder's place so she's a lot tamer than my Ferro whom I bought from a pet shop. Although now they're both very tame lar.

Taming doesn't happen overnight. Bribe them more often and try to handle them daily for half an hour or more. Let them be comfortable with the idea that you're their provider.

Guys, I went the night market today and I saw someone selling Winter White hamsters. He have loads of them. But I felt so curious that those hamsters he's selling is so tiny. It's like miniature Winter White They run really fast. He told me that they cannot grow any larger. They are like 2cm only. You guys see such hamsters before? They are not underage ya.. They're adult ad..

hmm, if the hamster terbalik cos it was looking up & lose balance, then it's nth uncommon.. the FLIPPING thingy is when the hamster somersaults backwards or when it terbalik repeatedly.. if it's not that often then it's nth serious..

usually the FLIPPING is only common among RCs.. but i've seen ww gold & even ww sapphire with this abnormality.. this is the after-effect of cross-breeding RCs & WW, which is just too common (haih..)

and also, this 'sickness' cant be cured, cos it's a genetic deformity(unless u change its genes, which is, impossible..)
better not breed, just in case
