Haha, and how you know I am working either logistic or IT? What make you think of these two? If IT, then it is quite obvious since I put it in my sig? wink.gif

Maybe I should sell IT services to you. biggrin.gif

No worries. Just apply those job even stated singaporean or SPR. My job requirement also stated singaporean and have car transport. Me? I am Malaysian and without car transport. Still I got the job due to the skills I have. But many jobs that I applied turned me down, due to the requirement they stated. I have eventually send out my resume to 300+ company. laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

PR and Citizen is different. Citizen require you to join NS. Unless your dad from PR change to Citizen. Then you have to go to NS.

Your dad help you to apply PR? Can, no problem, what it will take some time, let's say 3 months? Can you afford for being jobless for 3 months+? Don't forget the period of looking for a job. Economy isn't good now actually, many company trying to cut cost, came out in the newspaper.

Anyway, Good Luck. smile.gif

First rule of asking people to recommend you for jobs in LYN,... don't be a bullshitting forum troll.

How come your 2nd class lower LLB became a diploma overnight? You're full of it.

I think everyone here would appreciate it if you'd stop trolling and posting in this thread.

In career related threads, this forum is chock full of BS artistes - just witness the sheer number of morons who believe that its dirt easy to earn five-figure monthly pay packets before 30 years of age.

I think some information you provide is wrong. If his father is PR and apply PR for him, this mean he will be 2nd generation of PR and he will entitle to NS.

Same case to if PR marry PR, their children will be PR but entitle to NS as well.

Please correct me if I am wrong

Doesn't sound too bad. Take, for eg, a fresh grad whose starting salary is 2500, he'd need to get roughly 25% increment each year in order to get to 3800 after 2 years. Those are increments worthy of international accounting firms (assuming you don't get the usual promotion to senior after those 2 years).

Hello, does anybody know any place to rent in Boon Lay area?

My budget is below S$350.

I found a job in Singapore but yet a place to stay. doh.gif
*
i'm staying in boon lay too. got this room 2yrs ago at $280, increased to S$330 a yr later. staying alone with utilities + furniture. its considered quite cheap as compared to the market rate now.

the fastest way to get a room is via agent. but u'll have to pay them commission. my friend found hers 1 yr ago near JE MRT, she was charged around S$400/mth, including utilities, air-con, etc. so i guess this should be the market rate now. anyway, u can always bargain if u do not need air-con or the location is not near to MRT

btw, i used to work in BL too. my ex coy is located is Jln Boon Lay, what coy are u joining? smile.gif

hey guys..
i'm interested to work in Singapore as well,
so i've search jobsdb.com and found jobs which related to my field.
So i register myself to jobsdb.com.sg instead.
Prepared the resume and attach it already.
then i've apply for the job so waiting for confirmation..

my question is, is it alrite that i register unter jobsdb (sg) instead of jobsdb (my). By the way, i do not have any passes yet or PR pass.
How long u guys wait for the reply from such job provider ?
Does the company will apply for passes for you if you are hired?

i'm in the field of automation in Semiconductor. How is the automation industry there? I demanded $3500(nego) in my resume, should this be the market price?

is alright register uner jobsDB.sg as I register there as well to seek for singapore jobs.
waiting reply? its really depends to agent or company itself, some call u the next day u apply, some call only after few weeks or even 1 months, or some dun even get call tongue.gif
most company will apply passes for you, no worry. If not you can just apply yourself, nothing fancy there.

For your salary part, I have no idea.

Yes, it is alright to register under jobsdb, your employer doesn't bother about your account but your resume. If you notice, you won't be able to login into jobsdb.com.my if you register in jobsdb.com.sg. smile.gif

2 days - 1 month. Even after work, they still call me asking me whether I got job already not.

Yes. For sure they have to apply pass for you. If not, they can't employ you and you can't work.

Yes, you have to wait. If you are qualified and they noticed you, they will call you for an interview, that also doesn't mean you can get the job. That's how looking for a job life. biggrin.gif
