Challenging is good. We are still young. Should work hard and earn more money when we are young.

i think u will get the same amount of pressure from here if any production machine down.
i dont think there is much different in term of working pressure between malaysia or singapore.

chrt is really quite an extreme case. i was there for close to 3yrs while i was doing my part time diploma. the package/benefit is quite gd, AWS, yr end bonus, qtrly bonus, OT, shift allowances, etc. but is really stressful working there. yup, especially when the machine is down, lots are jam, etc. ur machine cannot even idle for 1min, otherwise u'd be question by ur engr. i received 3 spot awards while i was there. 1 was due to a SPSR raised wrongly by an engr to send some backend wafers to a frontend machine. which mean, u have to be alert at all times

the working hrs for normal shift start at 8am, considered pretty early as compare to other coy who usually start at 9am. i always had a hard time getting up so early in the morning rclxub.gif

so wer r u working now?...ur pay now better than chartered?....they say chartered treat vendors worse than dogs....i got chased out by one of the principal engineer b4....very lansi...there was once, they even said this to a japanese enginer "You all only know how to make porns?"...and that guys is just a normal equipment engineer.....i dunno how chartered people can be so disrespectful....really dislike the culture there....too stressful....

i'm doing accounts in a foreign MNC now, frankly speaking, i prefer my colls & working environment here.
used to see vendor coming back middle of the night to troubleshoot machine, engrs are always standby & need to be in the line most of the times. i guess this happen in all wafer fabrication industry, including chrt. there're ppl who can stay real long there too.  brows.gif
icic....all the best in ur career then....accounting line can earn alot....open ur own firm later?...hehe
