hey guys.. i'm interested to work in Singapore as well, so i've search jobsdb.com and found jobs which related to my field. So i register myself to jobsdb.com.sg instead. Prepared the resume and attach it already. then i've apply for the job so waiting for confirmation..
my question is, is it alrite that i register unter jobsdb (sg) instead of jobsdb (my). By the way, i do not have any passes yet or PR pass. How long u guys wait for the reply from such job provider ? Does the company will apply for passes for you if you are hired?
i'm in the field of automation in Semiconductor. How is the automation industry there? I demanded $3500(nego) in my resume, should this be the market price?

QUOTE(jimmy79 @ Sep 25 2008, 03:45 PM) is alright register uner jobsDB.sg as I register there as well to seek for singapore jobs. waiting reply? its really depends to agent or company itself, some call u the next day u apply, some call only after few weeks or even 1 months, or some dun even get call most company will apply passes for you, no worry. If not you can just apply yourself, nothing fancy there. For your salary part, I have no idea. ohh..thank you..has been waiting for few days already..Guess i've to wait huh.. thanx. Anyone here in automation?

QUOTE(hotsungie @ Sep 26 2008, 11:40 AM) I graduated from a UK uni majored in Electronics Engineering. Graduated with second upper and now working as a Purchasing Agent with 1.6k per month. I am seriously sad. I turned down an offer by LTA as project engineer last week (they offered me 2.5k) because they told me i need to work at the site (I am a girl, hello?). So now i need to start seraching again..so stressful...sighzzzzz... UK degree only 1.6k? hmmm...is this common?

QUOTE(MPIK @ Oct 28 2008, 12:28 AM) Many ppl think Singapore is more advance than Malaysia/KL, but if u go to Hong Kong, u will find Singapore is nothing.. Skyscrapers are everywhere in HK but u can only find it around CBD in SG. But if u compare KL and SG....then there is nothing can be compare. Even for jeans...singaporeans are wearing original Levi's but Malaysians are wearing pasar malam jeans. Singaporeans are playing their Iphones and PSPs in the MRT but Malaysians are just playing their MP3 in their MP3 players in a crowded sandwiched-packed monorail somemore. hmmm..u sounded like comparing? ur sentence seems to contradicting itself too..
