I think he misunderstood. non sg pr/citizen can drive malaysian car go in singapore for 10 TIMES foc once you apply for autopass..
After 10 times u go in u will be charged 10 dollar per entry to singapore. ERP still count on no matter u 1st or 2nd time drive in to singapore..
the VEP charges should be S$20/entry, not S$10. more info can be found in the website below

May i know which website shld i refer to? thanks.
PR is not allowed to drive Msian car into Spore. PR can only drive spore car in Spore.
As for the 10days FOC is applicable for all autopass holders

Whats MDR? I have a fren who just got work in the admin department for one company, she starting out 1650 but it maybe just probation, the funny thing is that her employer give her work permit only. I thought she would get at least an S Pass or EP since she has a degree in mass com from the UK.
Just 2 ask, getting a work permit, s pass or ep is it dependent solely on your qualifications or whether or not your employer preference to apply for you either one?
altho ur fren is a UK degree holder, but her pay is only 1650, if i'm not wrong. the criteria to apply for a S pass is S$1.8k whereas EP is S$2.5k. anyway, ur fren can always clarify with the HR before signing the offer..

i dunno bout msia...cos i been working at sg since i grad....but i still feel the paced is faster here....and i been to msia for technical support....customers did not push me as much....and my colleagues at penang are very slack...long lunch hours...got time for afternoon yamcha.....
cos i know if machine down at chartered...die die also must fix it....i have very bad exp there....
chrt is really quite an extreme case. i was there for close to 3yrs while i was doing my part time diploma. the package/benefit is quite gd, AWS, yr end bonus, qtrly bonus, OT, shift allowances, etc. but is really stressful working there. yup, especially when the machine is down, lots are jam, etc. ur machine cannot even idle for 1min, otherwise u'd be question by ur engr. i received 3 spot awards while i was there. 1 was due to a SPSR raised wrongly by an engr to send some backend wafers to a frontend machine. which mean, u have to be alert at all times
the working hrs for normal shift start at 8am, considered pretty early as compare to other coy who usually start at 9am. i always had a hard time getting up so early in the morning
