Me already bought pana deluxe econavi 1.5hp. Need to buy another one for another room but no idea what brand to choose beside pana. Is it worthy if i buy york plasma model? In kelantan the plasma model is rm1500 for 1.5hp and pana deluxe model 1.5hp is 1650. Just 150 difference. Can anyone sugest me other 5 star energy saving model beside pana? Thanks in adv

Thinking to get another air conditioner for my living room...

Got three brands to choose now, either York, Mitsubishi or Daikin.

My living room sizes would be 10x35 (about 350 sq ft) and according to air conditioner calculator, 10,000BTU aka 1.5HP air conditioner will be enough for my living room.

So between those three brand that I've been listed out above, which one are better? Since this is living room and I will rarely use it (perhaps I will only use it every weekends, about 3 hours every session) and it will be placed in the living room, inverter will be out of 'league' now. I don't need all those plasma thingy as well. My target now, just want to feel some sort of cool breeze in my living room. But now extremely cool like air conditioner in my bedroom which is obviously an enclosed place with good ventilation.

Does 1.5HP will be enough to cool down the 350 sq ft (10x35) living room or I need 2.0HP?

Just booked one unit 1.5HP Daikin Non-Inverter from the air conditioner shop near my house. RM1300 with installation. Need to pre-order first. Installation will be done either by Thursday of Friday depending on the stock arrival on the shop.

wanna ask:

my house air con electrical cables and water pipes are pre-installed by the housing developer.

An air con installer quoted me

YORK L series:

a. 1HP @ RM 1,100.00
b. 1.5HP @ RM 1,400.00
c. 2.0HP @ RM 2,300.00

Is the pricing reasonable?

If includes piping, shd b okay. If not, the 2hp seems expensive. Assuming non inverter.

I ordered the MS-FF10VC at Harvey Norman a month ago and is RM200 expensive than yours. The offer you got is good. Haven't install in my new apartment since renovation in progress. However I like it's easy DIY cleaning. Before that I was looking at Daikin.

From previous comments form others. The MS sounds good.

Bought 2 unit of mitsubishi aircon from homedec today manage to lower the price a bit

MS-FG10VC - rm1190
MS-GH10VC - rm980

Price include install and get 2 free gift umbrella. But quite sad to know that the new model now only has 8813btu rating for both the deluxe or basic model now worried that not enough cold for my master bedroom..

why don't you try mitsubishi electric? the deluxe model has triple plasma filter can remove odour and kills bacteria should be suitable for your family. i think the price also not much diffrent. it comes with 7+2 years warranty.
