QUOTE(skng03 @ May 18 2013, 02:27 AM) 3hp for my living hall just marginally enough, cover 728sqft, ceiling height min 11', max 12', all good with cassette type blowing to 4 direction I was told by the air con sellers that cassette type are high maintenance, else they will leak water easily. In addition, you need deeper false ceiling. I used wall mounted to maintain the height of my loft ceiling. |

Cassette type need min 14" clearance to install, High maintenance: hmm: your a/c seller bluff u lar, i switch on my a/c by timer 4pm to 11pm everyday, never call a/c guy for any service, just clean d filter mesh diy @ no cost. As for the leaking part, problem mostly cause by workmanship, cassette type use pump to discharge condense water, if the pump faulty the a/c compressor will no kick in… |

Anyway I prefer simpler technology and mounting to reduce costs and maintenance.High maintenance: hmm: your a/c seller bluff u lar, i switch on my a/c by timer 4pm to 11pm everyday, never call a/c guy for any service, just clean d filter mesh diy @ no cost. Hi Guys,
Just installed 1 unit aircond at my house, price and details as below. Panasonic 2.0HP Non-Inverter Deluxe Model (Econavi) C18PKH Price RM2,180 c/w standard installation 10 feet. Additional 2 unit PVC Casing and 5 feet extra piping plus power point fuse/plug = RM240 Total investment = RM2420 Location HLK Seksyen 23, Shah Alam. Temperature set at 27C from 9PM to 5AM, so far so good. Could feel the cool effects. Planning to install another 1.0HP unit at my room. ( might consider Mitsubishi Mr. Slim as recommended by other forumers ) |
