I try not to use any korean A/C, few of my friends (not the latest model) using korean brand having problem like noise, and frequent breakdown.

Thanks for the info, i do recall something about 5/8" my friend told me. If not mistaken many will use 1/4" & 5/8" for 2hp and above.

If you wanna install non-inverter 2.5hp don't go wrong, cause the huge size of condenser outdoor can easily vibration of your front door frame,
If the case is just hang up the top of door.

I can suggest install this model mitsubishi startmex inverter 2.5hp, for the set is around Rm2700~2900 sorry I'm forget already the actual price for without installed.

The electric bill is only cost you around same as 1.5hp non-inverter Aircon monthly Bill or less.
The R410a gas an inverter control is really make your living hall cooling & efficient.
Most of time you only need set to 25C or higher temp. Cause it is really feels comfort & quiet with easiy clean to access to fan blower.

Basic model shall cost <rm950, looks like kena ,potong even include installation

am 10000% sure its 1.5hp basic type, 1.0hp basic should be rm850

just came back from harvey normal. They have hitachi Inverter with free installation:

1hp:    RAS-S10CZ RM1199
1.5hp: RAS-S13CY RM1599

I already bought Daikin Inverter 1HP RM1350 incl installation from Jintex for bedroom. Now considering to take 1.5hp for living room.

Anyone have thought about Hitachi's aircond? not really familiar with it.

Anyone has comment/price for the latest Panasonic air cond?

Hi i'm planning to get Mitsubishi basic model MS-GF10VC.
Anyone currently using it?do u recommend it.
Whats the current market price now for it and there's this other model that i saw in another shop that tried to sell me the display set MSGC10 for 799?.I tried to look for it from Mitsubishi MY website but they don't have that model.Could it be an older model and how new is this MS-GF10VC though..thanks.Another model that grab my attention would be SHARP 1.0hp  having plasma but it's still kinda new in the market right.Also this would be my 3rd aircorn im getting for my room from acson>daikin inverter that didn't last long and breakdown and cost rm700 to repair so i might as well get a new one.Not into inventer aymore though.How about other brands or 1.0hp model that you guys have purchased and have been having it for quite some time already.

u mean 3 wires from indoor unit to outdoor compressor? 3 wires = install NON inverter type, inverter type only daikin use 3 wires, other brands use 5-7 wires

You need earth, live, and neutral for normal AC, inverter need another one for signal. Some uses 2 signal. So minimal you need 4.

Another method is get a 4 wires inverter, use one of your copper cables as earth. This is practice if you Install 4 wires, but invert need 5 wires.

I don't know how the Mitsubishi AC writing like. For other non inverter I seen is only 3 wires.

Looking at the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries catalog for non-inverter now, it stated:

Connecting wiring
1.0 and 1.5 HP requires 1.5mm2 x 3 cores (including earth cable)
2.0 and 2.5Hp requires 1.5mm x 4 cores (including earth cable)

I am not sure whether the cores means the number of cables required.

I bought 4 units of Mitsu Aircon 3 Inverter MSY-GE and 1 standard Mr.Slim, the warranty card were attached together, 2 years for indoor and 5 years for outdoor unit. i guess the receives or invoice should also valid for warranty purpose,

Saw courts offer for Pana standard air con with installation about 880 something if not mistaken.
You can refer jintexelectronics.com for some good reference price.

I used daikin for 3 years liao, so far so good just only done one standard service cleaning, no gass refill. Daikin probably a very quite in compressor and blower as well. Only problem is the colling effect. It doesn't cool very fast but in a moderate speed. I using inverter type. I on my air on at least 7 hours a day. My bill is about 50 plus. Of course wiht my refrigerator, water heater.

Now thinking to get one 2.0hp for my living hall, 2 unit 1.0hp for guest rooms. Anyway these room is only use ocasionally, so thinking to get cheap one. Saw Sanyo and Sharp quite attractive the price. Wonder how well is their performance.

So far my feedback back air on goes to LG, Samsung, York (noisy compressor).

Hi! M just bought 1 unit of mitsubishi hv air cond, model srk10. The sales person said no warranty card n warranty is ony refer to d receipt. Would like to know whether is true? Does anyone has warranty card of mitsubshi hv air cond srk 10 warranty card? And, does anyone has d contact n address of the mitsubishi hv air cond office or service centre or factory in malaysia? Couldnt find it in d web. Thank you.
