you have missed out Maybank, if u frequent shopper in Carrefour, u will be likes it. 5% rebate on normal days and 10% rebates on Super Tuesday for MBB credit card n Amex....
*
But that Maybank promo is only until year end. I'm looking for something long-term. I don't want to get stuck with this card and have no use for it after this year.

Mastercard and Visa charges a surcharge on top of the exchange rate. The banks also choose to charge an additional administration charge on top of that

EON: 2%
Hello friends,

Got .... read every single sentence of your credit card's T&C. (I did this for this card before) Eventually, you'll come across this statement regarding surcharges for overseas transactions.

want to ask something.. regarding cvv no at the back of the cc.. IF we blacken it.. will it void the card..? Not feel safe if i hand over the card to other people e.g hotel counter, sales guys who need to photocopy front/back cc.

coz i already remember the cvv no.. so better just blacken it.. then nobody else know...

* i means void in term of trouble that i will facing.. let say shop dont want to accept my card due to cvv blacken out..

Call and inquire about the iPay plan. It should be for 10 or 20 months installments (Can't remember the interest rate) but this applies for purchases above a certain threshold (Should be above RM1K I think). If you are thinking to do installment for your overall cc payment then this doesn't apply.

No one has done what you are thinking of doing and in my entire life of using credit card and the thousands of people who handled my card, I never had anyone abuse my CVV no. You are just too paranoid. shakehead.gif

Hi Phat, maybe you can do a little favor for the ppl here to confirm on the overseas transaction surcharge. Can you pls check on your statement if there is any?

as u know.. i'm confused now. EON bank CS said no surcharge, But member hye here said there is surchage as written on the T & C booklet.

No offense to any1. just want confirmation. tks.

Sometimes its a wonder why anyone would want to support MBB, its inefficient, arrogant, rude and downright stupid at times. And its not as if there are no alternatives etc.
