I have worked for 4 month but now I have post my salary slip to my brother for applying loan to invest in property. Suddenly, I saw MBB Treatsfair at midvalley. So if I want to apply for credit card, can I just use my offer letter ?

Standard is 3 months salary slip. Even though you post your salary slip to your brother, you should keep each month copy with you. Photostat another set to submit to bank.

Frankly, with just an offer letter, I think most banks will reject it.

Ahh Okay. Thats the problem. I forgot to photocopy those slip b4 i sent it.

Which card is better nowadays? What diff with CIMB-DA and CIMB-Petronas?

If you were to choose between CIMB n Maybank, which one do you prefer?

How about Amex?Do we got waiver for annual fees?

Which one have most benefits to us?

For DA, 2% petrol rebate on all the petrol station, for Petronas, 2% only for Petronas station.
*
For now, DA is the perfect cards for young graduates? How about the benefits? Where you read about DA got 2% rebates on all petrol station? I have google DA website but the elaboration is too few.

DA is perfect for fresh graduates because:

1. 2% rebate on any brand of petrol (http://www.directaccess.com.my/pdf/petrol%20statement%20leaflet.pdf)
2. No need to worry about annual fee
3. No minimum swipe for the month or year
4. It's a GOLD card not Silver/Classic.
*
For the DA, its comes only with CIMB right? My annual income is about Rm22k because I'm fresh graduates. Do you think the bank will allow? About the Graduates Certificates as requirement, I dont have it right now, my convo will in mid August. What document to brings? From what I know DA Card does not count point on Petrol purchases, do other card such as CIMB-Petronas or MBB-Petronas are the same?

Just got my free for life card 3 days ago.

My question about 20 days interest free since I'm a new cardholder.

1. 13 Sept : Fill petrol = Rm180
2. 14 sept : grocery = Rm200

When Oct statement come, do they charge me financial charge?Or my statement would be Rm380 fix?

Which bank is your cc from?

Added on September 16, 2008, 1:53 am

You will be charged RM 380. Don't worry about the finance charges unless you start to pay minimum and not pay in full every month.

Thanks Bro.
