If I got auto debit payment from saving account , does it contribute to CCRIS or CTOS or bad record when we apply loan or cc ?

Maybe debit such as installment thing, monthly payment or whatever ..
When we dont have money in bank, they cant deduct from us ..

but will it leave bad remark like hat CC does ? cos if CC we late payment got ccris or etc

The above is more likely to be applicable should you defaulted on your payment and you still do not make payment after the bank attempted to collect from you a few times.

In the first place, you should be more careful if you know you tend to make such "accidents". Why don't you remove that auto debit facility and make it a point to pay manually every month ? Some people may not like this as their excuse is the lack of convenience but it forces you to remember to pay those dues instead of thinking that the auto debit is a "safe zone".

What i understand is, if the bank cant debit from your account, bank will send a report to the company. And company will remind us.

I'm unsure myself of what sort of scenario you got yourself into. Well, the company cant dictate how you manage your account or tell the bank that they want to control your account - this would be a violation of your own rights.

Well ... since it sounds like your bank is likely just a executioner of a standing order, I don't think it's your bank who will send something to CCRIS or CTOS. It is more likely to be the company. Again ... why get yourself into such trouble ? It is either you make sure there's money in the bank or make it a habit to pay every month. Well ... I'm not sure what exactly are you paying for but good luck.

I think it is something security check for online shopping using MBB Visa & Mastercard only. Need to register for each card, if you want to use all for online shopping. Or just register one card if you always use that card.

bro, at the 1st place, why u wan go for auto-debit facilities?

people go for auto-debit facilities mostly is for the auto payment of various bills at various due date. people who see it's good only will go subscribe it. if u see bad, why to make urself in the trouble.

i really got enjoy 1 good year of auto-debit for my bills. just every month pay my credit card on time. never worry anything else.

discontinue? how u subscript then same way but reverse way u un-subscript the auto-debit lol...

it's advisable u go to directly Headquater of the Bank.
Citibank HQ is at jln sultan ahmad shah nearby the New Straits time there.
HSBC is the "bank street" nearby esplane lo...
OCBC there as well...

so the best way, u go to each bank above n ask the customer service, How fast u can give me ur credit card, i need it urgently. then on ur side u also need to provide sufficient document payslips 3 months and IC.

since u urgent wan ur card, any card which able to meet ur requirement is good bank for u, at least short term.

DA = Free for Life. 2% cash rebate for fuel.

oh yeah, if u dun wan to cross sea, u can try the Standard chartered nearby jetty there, n HSBC branch nearby there as well...

CIMB petronas also ok lo... free for life as well...

Yes, u right. Direct Access is the credit card brand name of Southen bank, it's being acquired by CIMB.

DA is mostly targeting professional or those with degree graduates while CIMB is any1 can apply.

I'm quite sceptical about U being able to get ur CC within the stipulated time frame U mentioned. Perhaps U need to get ur office to help pull strings with the bank in order to get ur application approved and physical card sent to you before u leave.

Agreed. It'll be a miracle if you can get your card within 1 week. Plus, you are asking ppl to look for you and rush the application. Mind you whether they rush it or not, they still get the same amount of commission. Why do more work for you for nothing ?

maybe can try for cimb card and ask the bank officer to remark urgent application but it does not guarantee can get the card within 1 week too. But so far fastest card processing i received before is Cimb.

I got my direct access in 1 week.

Yupp, I applied mine on Monday and received it on Saturday of the same week. Pretty awesome processing service, I would say.

Btw, I have a question do anybody here use MasterCard SecureCode or Verified by VISA service?

I personally like the idea of extra protection just like PIN or password. But the fact the liability of the security was transferred (kind of totally) to the consumer is a turn off. Any opinion on this?

I am using the Verified by VISA service. It's pretty good actually as in a way the bank is able to verify that it is you who is using your card for online purchases. I can understand why the liability is transferred to the consumer as if you forgot or allow the password to fall into the wrong hands, it is the equivalent of you giving the keys to your house to a thief. Treat it as if it is your online banking password and it will be OK.

Initially not a lot of websites have this features but the numbers are growing. The only downside IMHO is that you need to remember the password or it will be a lot of work to reset the system again. It is all self service - well at least in HSBC at least.
