@bee993,
Yes just call CS and tell them U didn't get ur bill hence U didn't make payment.  They usually will waive the late finance charges + interest rates billed to U.

@jep,
The conversion takes place at point of purchase.  The exchange rate is based on 'International Forex Rates' then.  If the item was purchased today @ 10AM it will be converted based on today's 10AM rates.

i send email to them and they just reply say will waive the late payment charge the next month bill.but never mention about interest.....

and my unbil statement still have the charge at there....

actally my eon bank cc statement oso dint receive but i already pay the late payment charge........it is possible to get them waive it back?

i dun thinks there is any1 here got their own Citi Giant card as most of us already existing citi CC user. it's appear less attractive to us, since no RM50 rebate vouchers.

you can go to read the terms n condition, there will be stating how's the rebate works or u can call to citiphone ask the customer service, they would like to answer ur queries.

@bee993,
Once U've paid I don't think the bank will entertain anymore requests for waiver. Plus U have no more grounds/advantage to make any arguments with them.

i'm sorry for reposting if this has been mentioned before.

btw, it seems they hv reduced the number from 300 to 200 now at lcct..
sad.gif very bad.

does it mean that there is very small chances to access free lounge if we visit mid~end of the month?

It is really up to your preferences. For example, for online purchases I use DA and HSBC.

DA - If you trust the online merchant. By all means do so but I'm rather skeptical about local banks handling online/offline transactions disputes.

HSBC - I'm aware of the slight additional charges but I treat this as insurance just in case disputes happen. For example, I had a merchant who double charged me for a transaction. I called the bank and informed them ... filled up the necessary forms and etc (before even my billing cycle was due) and it was corrected within less than 1 week. (I'm sure they must have contacted the merchant) Another case, someone cheated me on a service and I paid via PayPal. Under PayPal T&C, they don't handle service related disputes but I put up the request via HSBC forcing PayPal to talk to HSBC in proving their case. I got my money back after 30-45 days.

Everyone don't get the wrong idea ... I only do genuine disputes on my cc.

It all depends on you ... correct me if i'm wrong but Alliance will not give you points right if you opt for rebates ?
