Maybank is promoting Visa while CIMB on Mastercard.

Maybank good meh? I started to dislike RHB credit cards

I choose Maybank for convenience.

I don't know how to say one particular credit card is good but Maybank AMEX gives 2xTreatpoint for RM1 which is awesome.


I use CIMB Mastercard the most. Because the redemption point is lower than other banks' credit cards. Like it very much because it is free for life with absolutely no string.

hmmm couldn't find any info regarding DA giving 2% rebate for all petrol from their site. Anyone know where to find it?

guys, need your opinion, i've apply for MBB Mastercard Classic since end of last month (march), one week after that maybank call my office and talk to my colleague (the lady just check about my background i think), and after that there is no update...is it normal for they to process my application up to one month or more? desperately need the CC since i will travel a lot on may due to some work...

CC is given based on the bank's decision. Sometimes, the bank rejecting you is a good thing.

hopefully that's not the case, will wait for another 2 weeks, if there is no update, maybe i should apply for another bank...RHB maybe?

I suggest apply a few cards as backup since some local banks not widely accepted when travelling. Also as safety net since you need the card urgently.

all card are the same, all is using VISA and Master...

for local bank, just inform them when u r going to oversea.

i ask them to photostat the promotion statement for me to keep.. really no care amount.. swipe one time every month hsbc no need to pay annual fee already

noted when my bro went oversea, some bank will call home to ask for confirmation only.........should be ok rite if we didn't call in the first place before going oversea?

dunno can successfully get the card or not

It's better to inform the banks when you're going to use your card overseas - where're you going and how long will you be there.
