Guys, i just applied for citibank cc through the cc salesman in qb. The prob is, they dont offer any free gifts, while applying online, their giving some bag. Any idea how to get the free gift? I didnt know about the free gift till i came home to check online.

UOB ONE is not platinum card. Just one type of credit card. If you did notice, there's one UOB Platinum card, which is the real platinum card. I don't think with RM5k/month, you can apply platinum card. Usually require about 10k/month, unless you put FD a lot. Then maybe can.

UOB ONE Platinum is just a name of credit card lol... saja let u feel "syok" haha...

but the agent say annual is same as the other platinum.. I ask him, he say both also same platinum and ask me to get ONE platinum with more offer.

Is it easy to get UOB other platinum? I check their UOB web and the other platinum look very beautiful. ONE platinum silver white only.

Normally what is credit limit for gold card or platinum?

Called Maybank CS today and they said that my card has been delivered to the respective branch. Called the respective branch and confirmed that the card is already there. Finally I got my Petronas Visa CC.

the most easier to get plantinum is CIMB Direct Access... only require 80k annual income.. .other famous bank like HSBC , Citibank , Maybank etc all need 100-120k annual income... rm5k/month confirm cannot get .. unless u got a guarantor.. or ask your parents that own it sup for you

for me, i din call them. if they dun give me the CC i applied, i boycott them n apply other banks one. if u really want, try calling after 2 weeks.
normally they will call ur office to verify ur working at there. unless ur applying the same bank that ur salary is being credited (like in my case) then they wont call u.

why some bank gave extremely low credit ? my boyfriend has a gold card from citibank but credit is only Rm5k (they auto upgrade for him) ,, his monthly pay is rm3k, he should get at least rm9k credit right ? credit limit = salary x3 ?

which bank give the most high credit and which one give lowest ?

I applied for ONE platinum dunno how much they will give me... anyone can share what is the average credit limit you guys have for normal citizen like me..

Today got call from EON bank offering Platinum card or something. Rejected nicely...

No offense, but gold card at 5k limit is a bit low... There are ppl with normal classic cards at 10k-20k limit.

Anyway, no point having high credit limit, if you are not utilising it... and paying full or 0% monthly installment. If you really hit credit limit and pay full every month, for 3-6 consecutive months, it is very easy to apply for higher credit limit.

while for like normal citizen like us, UOB will give combined limits of RM4k.

My sister income around 2.5k only and she was holding Citibank Gold card ( which also upgraded / offer automatically by bank ), curiously her credit limit

was 13k

I do think Bank will increase cc credit limit depends on ur spending habit

As i knew she always helped our family member paid first for gold stuff (for wedding), PC , laptop ,gathering dinner expenses and buying fly tickets

(for sure we did paid back ) , which mean her spended amount would be around 4k to 6k for certain month

depends one.. if your payment is good they will increase automatically, and your spending power...

Finally, I canceled my CIMB Direct Access before get approval for my CIMB Petronas MasterCard......anyway, they keep the credit limit as well..... hopefully can get the card by next week....cheers....

FYI, you must use MASTERCARD not VISA one, if you use only on VISA, then you will never get nothing...... that's my experience from my fren here.....
