the fan attached on colourful 8800GT is Zalman VF-1050 , and yes, it is noise but perform quite well. But more worse is, u can't adjust the fan speed as it is a 2 pin fan. sweat.gif

btw, I also facing the same problem like yours in RivaTurner. So, I forced to set two hotkeys to adjust my fan speed...

Tried 100% fanspeed, and the temp. at idle its 57'c... looks normal temp. that i see on those oem fan... sweat.gif

Is really consider very high idle temp you got with 100% fan speed ... 57'c..... try to manage ur rig's cable... might have better result.

idle at 60'c or 57'c is bad for a big cooler like this... mine idle at 48-49'c and load on 65'c and thats overclocked to 740/1838/2136

using CM 450 true power... I worry cannot OC the processor and graphic with this PSU.. If change to 550W also waste of money if the 450 is sufficient.

waste for now but u still save back in long term in monthly elec. bill as the PSU efficiency higher... mostly now 500W+ is 80%.. urs is 70%?.... and it will be abit future proof.... and abit more protection... depends
