If not planning to OC , go for XFX 8800GT XXX
if planning to OC, got for Normal XFX + 3rd party Cooler will be wiser smile.gif

OCing ur proc won't get much diff in gamming actually... GPU is more important smile.gif

i forget to add, at least 3.0ghz processor speed haha, btw... for benchmarking maybe the proc is important in 3d06 to influence the score (must 3.0ghz), but real gammig.... not really much diff even oc > 3.0ghz...

I'm user of Asus 8800 GT TOP. Just wondering is my temperature very ganas ah?  rclxub.gif

Idle temp - 70 C
Load - 85+ C

I see all of ur temp so low. But mine, I'm worry for that. sigh
*
Try using rivaturner to set up fan speed at 60% or higher... =_=

Idle temp - 70c.... that is very high

Actually I'm worry of the temperature is because my comp crashes easily when i play CoD4 or Crysis. It crashes after playing for awhile. And it is damn annoying to crash (black screen) when you are half way through in the game. The temp was like 90C when i played CoD the other day. hope so that Rivatuner is my solution for now until i get extra fans and coolers.

But, come on man, after buying 8800GT GC, all I get is crashes when playing high end game.  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif Don't tell me we, as consumers, are expected to get extra fans just to cool down our own cards? What's wrong with the manufacturers man. Didn't they do their homework?!?! It's like building a CASTLE with NO KING in it.

Try ur riva tuner first ... smile.gif

set it to 100% when u play games ... should be ok... u using ASUS TOP?
