1.From what I read,Irenic paid extra RM160 as a safekeep to Seamonster pending for the arrival of the E2160 processor he sent using Pos Laju and then Seamonster already sent the HSF+receipt to him with Pos Laju.

2.Both party never keep receipt and tak ada bagi tracking number and item didn't arrive.So I think the best way is Seamonster should only refund back a small sum to Irenic since it is not Seamonster's fault that the E2160 processor went missing.

3.All in all both party are wrong cause both of you lost the receipt and cannot trace the item.

4.Seamonster should return back a sum which is more or less to cover the price of heatsink and the rest of the money he keeps it.

5.Seamonster should also give him back or issue a new receipt for the Q6600 processor if he still can prove he bought it from ther retailer.

Which part u saw SeaMonster posted the HSF and receipt?

I think i only saw he posted the proc itself.

He said he posted it but lost also and he didn't keep the receipt.So Seamonster must pay Irenic back the sum equal to or same as the price of the HSF

I only know SeaMonster posted something to irenic and he already got it..
And then something about HSF and receipt getting lost, means i assume it wasnt sent together with the proc.

Nonetheless, since the HSF and receipt is lost, then SeaMonster should compensate to irenic or refund if irenic feared its an OEM proc.

In short, we can split everything into 3 seperate deals.

Q6600 between seamonster and irenic
irenic paid the full price. irenic claimed to receive the processor but not the receipt or the heatsink.
Conclusion: seamonster still owes irenic the heatsink and receipt

E2160 between irenic and seamonster
irenic claimed to have sent out the processor. However, the processor is claimed to have not arrived. Due to irenic not being able to provide proof of sending (lost of receipt), irenic is to bear the loss. seamonster has not paid anything for the processor. No refund needed
Conclusion: Deal is considered void. Case closed

E2160 between kucingfight and seamonster
kucingfight paid seamonster for the processor. The processor did not arrive. seamonster refunded kucingfight with compensation (very good dealer move).
Conclusion: Deal is considered cancelled. Case closed.

So after reviewing the 3 deals, 2 are "closed" except 1. seamonster still owes irenic the heatsink and receipt. Unless there is some missing information, that is the obvious solution.

wah complicated case... my suggestion would be...

irenic lost processor... so he should pay for it.
seamonster lost HSF+receipt... so he should pay for it.

Irenic holds seamonster processor, he should return it
seamonster holds Irenic money, he should return it

kuching fight get extra RM20 should return it.

post malaysia cost... shared between seamonster and Irenic. Consider having a teh-tarik sesson lah.

That is the one best conclusion I've seen so far.

As for the doubt that the q6600 is an OEM proc, if seamonster cannot prove that it's retail, Irenic deserves a full refund and post back the tray proc sent to him. This time, keep the receipt and provide the tracking number.

I think better for Irenic to just return the processor and claim his money back because without resit it dosen't matter wheter OEM or retail,he cannot claim warranty.

Since irenic now starting to doubt about the proc is tray proc,we can just wait for izzani answer to prove that the proc is retail and it's from izzani.as long as it's retail,niothing big here except for the receipt and heat sink fan.

now,
if the proc proven to be the retail unit,then irenic satisfy,after that,if seamonster failed to send out the heat sink and receipt,irenic can discuss with seamonster how much to get abck since the package is not as mentioned.

RM700 is for Q6600,heat sink and receipt

since now no heat sink and receipt,irenic entitled to get some money back.it's all about irenic and seamonster how to settle.

DONT DRAG KUCINGFIGHT INTO THIS CASE ANYMORE,now is between irenic and seamonster.

2 ways to settle:
-Irenic get some refund from seamonster from the heat sink and receipt
-Seamonster prove the Q6600 is retail and ship out the heat sink and receipt.

This thread's dispute is idiotic. People trawling the LYN pages to buy from forumers and then sell it back again to forumers aren't traders or doing any real business.
In my books, these people are purely opportunists who fail to see the consequences of this sort of buy & sell system. Messy isn't it?

1) The fact remains, if SeaMonster had advertised and sold the Q6600 as a retail CPU to TS, he needs to ensure this part of the bargain is honored. Not providing the original receipt means that the origins of that CPU is questionable. In addition, RM700 was its full price as paid by TS. I wonder how much profit did SeaMonster make out of this Q6600 sale, huh?

2) Reciting back the story, RM160 will be refunded back to TS once he traded in his E2160. Obviously this didn't happen as the package went into a black hole. SeaMonster's other deal goes sour as that E2160 was in turn sold to Kucingfight for RM200, which he added RM20 as a sort of "apology".

- why in god's name is RM20 added as an offer of "apology". A simple apology and full refund would have been enough for such a small amount. To curry favour?
- disputing & complaining how the package has been lost by Pos Laju doesn't change anything in 1) above

Good thing TS brought this up. I was looking through the LYN CPU,Mobo section trying to find a particular CPU and saw several posts from SeaMonster buying stuffs and then also selling them.
I remembered thinking, wtf is going on?

yeah poslaju is damn horrible.. but i have no choice in using them except few stuffs i'll be using skynet.. lately i've been using skynet to send stuffs to my buyer due to lack of confidence with the poslaju and depends on hurriness of the buyer..
