mine SWU 3.0 300Mbps but upgraded 500Mbps Pro upgraded
but i don't get 800Mbps

I was referring to plan name that still remain at 300 after the 2023 free upgrade to 500, can ask support to change it. For the free upgrade to 800, I'm hope I will get it too.

i'm on the upgrade package from gov.. 300 to 500.

recently received call swu offer free unifi tv box + package. but they keep repeating the 300 speed, not 500.
after confirmed, yes speed will go back 300.

so be extra careful for those who got same offer, listen to what they said carefully.

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding second router.

I've moved to a new home and relocated my unifi. The house is 2 storey and the wifi coverage upstairs is bad. My phone is disconnected from wifi (2.4hz) most of the time.

My budget is cheapest as possible since i only need the internet for social media browsing. I am thinking to buy a secondhand router (Fiberhome AX1800, similar like current router) for upstairs since the connection point is provided by the developer.

Is this method valid? since i saw some postings on Carousell saying that the fiberhome cannot be as second router.

189.75 (since 300Mbps plan), now same price on 800/200 one

It clearly write 'unifi advance plus 500Mbps'. Should ignore the name, most important is what price monthly for that 500Mbps.

More than can, wired or wireless mesh. Mine Fiberhome SR1041F sub-router for DPN-FX3060, sometimes for Fiberhome HG6145F3. Use Fiberhome app for easiest mesh configuration.

is Xiaomi and Fiberhome router compatible? i thought can only use same brand as range extenders

if you want to buy router as cheap as possible, better go for mikrotik

there sales going on currently



why mikrotik you maybe asking, because of software update

this is my old rb2011



notice that factory firmware 3.10, which is from 2008, still receive update until now.

but be aware, this model is cheap, because it dont have 5Ghz wifi, only 2.4Ghz, stil it using AX (wifi 6)

also, the spec is better if you compare with any router from TM



one more thing, it also can run container dierctly from the router, with that, you can install adblocker like pi hole or adguard home directly to the router'



but it good start if you want to learn how to use mikrotik router

5.4.2025, I apply for termination on unifi page for my 500mbps+unifitv package with 6 month contract left (package price RM149 without SST). and just today received call from TM. I told that guy that the reason is because I dont want the TV pack and astro offered 500mbps for RM90 per month. Thus, that TM guy offer me this packages since he mentioned that I'm a old customer based on my account. Plan offered;

1. 100mbps = RM79 - 6 month free bill - 12 month free disney hotstar
2. 300mbos - RM99 - 6 month free bill - 6 month free disney but after 24 month contract, speed revert to 100mbps
3. 300mbos - RM119 - 6 month free bill - 6 month free disney and speed mantain even after 24 month contract.
4. 500mbps - RM139 - 6 month free bill - 6 month free disney and speed maintain after 24 month.

I opted for 100 mbps speed since I got my maxis package for 450gb data per month for my phone and another reason is that I can upgrade to higher speed anytime I want after that 6 month of free bill.

If you talk about wireless mesh, Xiaomi mesh may not compatible with Fiberhome mesh.
However, it still can be connected together if you know the technical know how using Repeater mode​
