Guys, usually which speedtest.net server you guys use to test a 1-2gbps connection?

My 1gbps usually hitting around 870-880mbps on most servers. Only off peak and certain hours I will see it above 900mbps closer to my 1GBe limitation.
*
I used the KL server (auto-detect).

I am wondering should I make a report that my bridge keeps dropping to 300Mbps after some times and stays at that speed all the ways.

Does anyone manage to resolve the dropped speed via bridging issue via TM technical troubleshooting?

This is coming from D-link 3060 right? My client's using this model and i lodged a report to TM and request to change to stand alone modem aka BTU.

So far after changed it no issue with the dropping speed.

Btw using 1gb package right now

Hi everyone with the D-Link speed drop issue.

Did you put your device in a confined area?
Do you host any server, torrent or transfer huge amount of data?

I received a call today offering a free upgrade to 1Gb/s with three months of free billing if I renew my contract.

I mentioned that I’m already using 1Gb/s. It seems like it might be from a third-party company, not TM.

It's second hand Huawei device. But for me no issue with the device itself since it's "pre-loved" unit...haha

Yes can actually, just tell them you getting speed drop problem. Just request change the modem only.

That time during TM tech came, he bring 2 units which is one is Huawei and the other is Fiberhome modem

Just livechat with Unifi for asking the FSU.
And they seems like still controlling the speed for upgrading 800mbps users because of the ONR issue.
I was asking for the upgrade, but the CS didn't said will escalate the request like June, and just ask me to wait until end of the year for the CPE/ONR changes.

For local, I find Digital Nasional Berhad, Cyberjaya the most stable.
Can usually get 930+Mbps.

But for me, the weird thing is I can't seem to get good speeds to Singtel, SG via Chrome browser based tests.
When, I use the CLI test to Singtel, the results are always much better.

These tests conducted within 1 min of each other.
Which is more accurate? 😁

I been told that running speedtest in router might not able to achieve full speed due to the limitation on the speed test app.

prior to this, if your using pure ONR, you can test inside the router, should hit over 1gbps based on your plan. if you on LAN, due to port limitation, max also 920-940
Other wise, if you on bridge, much depend on your ONR/ONU have 2.5G port, as well your router have 2.5H WAN, if so, if test on router, you can hit over 1gbps based on your plan. If you test on wifi, depend which version of your devise, and Wifi 5G setting, If test on LAN, same, if your LAN port of router is G/2.5G, if just gigaport, still max 920-940
server sometime does contribute, but use cyberjaya / KL one most stable.

you will never get full speed 2Gbps with this router as it has only 1 2.5G WAN and the rest is 1G LAN
*
What if i change to Archer BE9300? It come with 2.5G Wan port and 4 2.5G Lan ports
