Usually TM technician will just give out new ONU and router, especially when they see your ancient device. Nowadays it is combo ONU and router.

Yeah X1 slot is enough for it

Something like this will be good
Check out ASUS PCE-AX3000 DUAL BAND WIFI 6 PCI-E WIRELESS / BLUETOOTH 5.0 ADAPTER (BULK) at 28% off! RM108.00 only. Get it on Shopee now! https://my.shp.ee/8DEvFbt

You will also need to connect 1x USB cable from the card to a free USB2.0 Header on your motherboard, this is used for the onboard Bluetooth that the card also has

So, you can also remove any USB BT Adapters you have

Hi all. I have 3 huawei mesh HG6145F3. How do i connect them via ethernet backhaul? I've connected them first using mesh from the 2 mesh to 1 main, then connect both via ethernet to the main but somehow, i keep getting no internet at times and have to restart the main like there's some conflicts happening.

Then i tried connecting 1 mesh to the main, and another mesh to the first mesh. After few days, i still got randomly disconnected. So how do i connect them actually? Tried using switch after the main but the mesh does not identify as mesh anymore. Helpp

Users take to social media to complain of Unifi internet outage, poor service

FMT Reporters

-31 Aug 2024, 01:38 PM

PETALING JAYA: A number of Unifi internet service users have taken to social media to complain of an outage that has taken place since yesterday evening.

Unifi is a service by Telekom Malaysia Bhd, offering internet access and several other services to residential and business customers through an optical fiber network.

Oh, Unifi. You are the national internet but having a breakdown on National Day. What an irony,

one netizen said in a post.

Another netizen lamented the disrupted services she experienced for almost 12 hours.

Too busy with National Day celebrations?

 she said with sarcasm.

Meanwhile, a resident in Kepong, who wished to remain anonymous, told FMT he noticed that his internet line had been slow since last night.

Upon checking with Unifi’s customer service yesterday, he was informed that the issue would be resolved by 11am today. However, today, he was told that the internet service provider needed until 4pm to fix the problem.

Another netizen said the Unifi internet has been slow for weeks

and now gone

.

If no internet service is available for many days, who is going to compensate me for the bill?

 she said on X.

I use Unifi internet because it’s the national internet for Malaysians, but the quality is lacking and users’ voices are not heard. This issue with the internet is not just a one-time occurrence … repeatedly, Unifi users have complained about your service,

 said another netizen.

Checks by FMT found users mostly complaining on X about Unifi’s slow internet and service disruption numerous times throughout August.

FMT has reached out to Telekom Malaysia for comment.

Hi guys,

Been reading here regarding free speed upgrade to all Unifi users as announced by the Gov last year.

I was upgraded yesterday from 800 to 1000mbps. Hardware provided by TM is Dlink AX3000 Model DPN-FX3060V Combo. Download speed tested almost touching 1000mbps not all the time but definitely above 900mbps everytime. Upload slightly above 500mbps all the time. I asked the techcian to configure all the four ports for LAN as I dont use IPTV & VOIP. No increase in monthly fees & free for 6 months. My package is ONLY for Internet & I pay less. Using for surfing net, YT, Whatsap etc. Importantly I used for playing online games with my Xbox Series X. Playing at the moment 2 MMO games & paying a monthly subscription for them.
Btw anyone know how to configure the Dlink Combo supplied by TM for Port Forwarding to my Xbox Series X console? Tyvm in advance for any help smile.gif I was abled to configure my previously used tp link A73 router to Port Forward for my Xbox Series X smile.gif

The old Huawei modem + tplinkAX73 Router (bought myself) dismantled & I kept both of them.

Thank you very much.

Just got upped to 1Gbps yesterday, ,
Asked tech to bridge mode to my Asus ac66u B1,
Speed not much different from 800 before , averaging 860~930 dl on fast.net,
860+-dl on unifi own speed test,
860~920dl on speedtest.net
ul about 560-600 on all.

Can my router still perform on 1Gbps?

( Combo box with a 2.5g port) D-Link black

those who have UNIFI issues like congestion should complain to the minister in charge on his facebook . the minister in charge does read the comments on his facebook every day. MCMC can not help anyone on issues like congestion. the minister forced UNIFI to increase internet speed .remember that.

Just check online your router spec, is 1000mbps, so cannot over 950mbps

at least he implemented MSAP 2023 . he is the one who has the authority to solve the network congestion issue and result in expediting the installation of xgs pon line cards. otherwise the congestion issue will drag on and on.

the cost of xgs pon line cards is peanuts to TM . obviously TM has no intention of solving the network congestion issue ASAP. complaining on the forum get you nowhere .
