Just noticed I can't remotely connect to my CCTV.

Call 100 reported the problem. Within 2 hours, TM Unifi called and asked for the CCTV Serial number, Network Settings, and CCTV photo (Optional).
They will forward to Engineering to change the IP.

I haven't been using TM Broadband for many years. (Switched to TIME).

But I am impressed and happy that TM Unifi responds so fast nowadays.

I would say their customer service has improved A LOT and every time I called, they seemed well trained and friendly.
Not like Streamyx time.

Well. No choice. Condo > landed. Even though my house is just opposite the road, TIME doesn't serve landed.

TIME is the first I called. 

Lol. Actually a lot now. We only had one apartment building with TIME before. Then suddenly, all taman around it got covered by TIME around the same time. Guess really depends on area. So far, 0 downtime since I installed in August.

if i still have about 8 months of contract for my unifi, and my cousin one is also under contract (not sure how many months left), is it still possible for me to transfer my unifi account to her?

As I know, TIME will only serve those new project only. They don't go do for old housing area.

Atleast they should be giving the fiberhome ax1800 as standard. We dont know if the customer will upgrade the speed in the future.

Yeah, but Time's coverage is so bad that it's practically non-existent.

Finally upgraded from 800Mbps to 1Gbps today. The installer came with white Dlink and I asked him if he’s got the black one. He said got and went back to his van to take.

Since I’m using my own router he offered to setup GPON for me but he said never tried before. So I asked him to use back the old Huawei modem and give me the Black Dlink for backup. At first he was hesitant as he said dunno Huawei can work or not. I told him many ppl tried before and can work. So he just upgraded my speed and my existing connection just worked. Managed to get 940Mbps.

Then he setup the Black Dlink to try and got the same speed. Luckily I followed this forum. Else I would’ve been stuck with the old ONR.

Dunno if it's placebo effect. Webpages seems to load faster.
But even with 800Mpbs i don't really fully utilize it unless download big files.
PS5 and Xbox usually can't get past 200Mpbs.

Can i actually login to Spotv Now using Unifi acc id? I tried but only came out login error. Unifi ID is the id used in PPPOE login? i.e. xxx@unifi

Haven't been keeping up-to-date on current offerings. Better explore a bit before deciding. Heck, I haven't got the FSU to 1Gbps. Maybe time to call MCMC. Anyway, didn't regret it then so maybe will also go for it again.

Is it possible to change my IP without reboot router? My IP was 110.x yesterday night, but it is now 115.x without reboot the router

At early 2023 Oct, I go unifi subscribed the 300mbps fibre.
Then late 2023 Oct, government announce free fibre upgrade.
I received SMS my unifi package is upgraded and ask to restart router.
I also do a speed test. It bump up to 500mbps.

But today I check the unifi app, my package is still 300mbps, speed test also 300mbps. Anyone face the same upgrade then downgrade as I do ??

Yes, if they can detect the fiber signal from the pole to the white box, it means the issue happens after the white box, likely with the cable inside your premises. Anything after the white box is beyond their responsibility, and you will need to hire your own contractor to replace the fiber cable. They might provide you with the contact information for contractors, but in my area, they often refuse to do so even though they have the contact. The TM gave you the contractor contact is actually helping you already. If not, you totally no idea who you can contact to fix the cable.

I've had my cables damaged by rats in the past, so I asked them to add a tube to protect the fiber.

Just have them come and replace the cable. Prices vary; for your reference, I paid 250 back in 2018 and about 180 three months ago. But the total cost depends on the length and size of your house. Try to negotiate.

Same house but different contractor. Yes. This is what I am trying to says, became cheaper in this era.

Still July, TM will come through. /s
