Always go for bundled services for internet + mobile plan. Better value compared to standalone services. Be a smart consumer. Other than unifi, please check what other fiber service provider in your area. Inquire, ask them how you can maximize their plan with the value you will be paying for the next 24 months and so on. Satisfied, proceed. Else; repeat the circle again.

I segregate the payments on monthly basis, and bank acc used for online shopping. Never touch or used the main one. Hahaha. Healthy cybersecurity practice. I know the right time where I will be billed. So will cash in the money a day before auto-pay deducts the money.

Yes, it makes no sense to hire so many dev team. So the only logical explanation is the development and customization is done by the OEM.
Maybe some OEM specialize in CN WiFi regulatory domain so they supply China market.
Some might specialize in FCC regulatory domain and they supply the US market.
The remaining OEM just take a slice from the international market.

is it just me or the Netflix website doesnt work?
it doesnt load the video lists, anything else seems working
also if on phone app, still able to find some video and play it just fine
but main page which shows thumbnails of videos all doesnt work

ASUS ExpertWiFi EBR63. A AX3000 WiFi 6 router for SME businesses. They do have various expertwifi network gear lineup, including a gigabit VPN router.

The UI is similar to Ubiquiti products fyi. I think there will be dark mode, judging from current_theme=white condition (developers/coders/programmers will get this).

i hate dark mode mine AX68U old router still dark mode i don't like
my phone i always set white mode without dark mode
any high end ASUS ExpertWiFi model
i did go https://www.asus.com/microsite/better-WiFi-for-SMB/my/

Is your issue resolved? when my TM tech came today, I directly told them, I want to use my own routers, switch. They also gave me this HG6145F3.

they directly setup as bridge. after selecting that. they also had to do the "authlink" - password thing on the ONU in order for it to work. <<< this is based on my untrained photographic memory, which is ymmv...>>>>

So you may need help from TM if you want to set bridge mode. *** or if you know the authlink code...


My question for others, is does this Fiberhome router have backdoor, should I switch back to the "dumb" huawei ONU?

Anyone in kuching experiencing lagging/high latency at night around 7-10pm these few day? Mine alway got 200-300 ms in online game during these time and get back normal (40--ms) afterward, and already few day have this situation. Mine package is 500mbps (300mbps swu 3.0 with free upgrade) and below is the speedtest during the time i mentioned

Basically they only configure the PLOAM password to authenticate the ONU and VOIP number / PIN for your phone to work.
Since nobody post firmware dump for FiberHome, it remains unknown. But if you are worried then the Huawei ONU is confirmed safe. You should be able to just swap it.

Try using wired connection first. It might be WiFi congested during peak hour since it is a shared spectrum.
If it is still same with wired connection, then it is TM local congestion. There is nothing you can do about it.

for the GPON password and VOIP number / PIN can get from installer, i managed to get it from installer now i can switch between old onu and new combo ONR
