No. It's all done in computer system. Portal is not yet updated. I think it will only be updated once the technician comes to install the router. And no need to be sceptical. A lot of people already confirmed about this. That's why I went to apply after reading their experience. The counter knew exactly what I want without me explaining further. She just asked which package. I answered. Confirmed perpetual. Thumbprint. Kaotim.

Btw, I actually didn't ask if the upgrade is perpetual. I only asked how long the upgrade will be. She answered it's perpetual. So ya. There's no reason why she needs to lie about it. After all she is the one who told me it's perpetual in the first place without me asking.

Your 500mbps includes unifi tv package?

No. Just broadband internet service. But I do know some users reported that after the switching, their unifi tv box is still functioning. Only left those basic channels such as tv1 tv2 tv3.

By the way, I'm using my own TP-Link Archer AX73 router. Should I switch back to the stock UniFi router when the installer comes?

Yeah. Interested to know if the package name still Unifi 300 for those signed up with so called 500mbps plan for RM119. I do hope eventually all Unifi 300 will be updated to 500. Seems like free speed upgrade eventually will happen; 300 upgraded to 500.

In the system still shows SWU 300mbps Mesh6 even though she said 500mbps permanent. Hmm interesting.

I'm on 500mbps and download Microsoft windows 11 from Microsoft official website can reach 60mb/s.

Btw those unable to have the speed you subscribed also need to depend the hosting / server side as they had bandwidth limitation due to operating cost etc.

Yes. 5Mbps is good enough for iOS update. Any internet speed faster than that, the Apple thingy still slow slow download. Will take about the same time regardless you have 5Mbps or 5Gbps.

By the way, all using Apple products fast fast go and update to iOS 16.7 or iOS 17. Got big security issue patch.

If use for torrenz, then 500Mbps is better than 300Mbps with long term seeds around.

The problem is it's not yet install. Didn't I mention before. I am still waiting for their call. Lol.
