How long your contract left?

Most likely, all those who switched to SWU3.0 300mbps will have the same title. No matter you got 6/12 months or perpetual upgrade. Don't forget the rm119 package is still listed as 300mbps, the upgrade is one of the sub bonuses. So I don't think the bonus will be reflected on the account service title itself.

Then you guys asked how we will know the upgrade is perpetual or not? I guess we have no choice but to wait for 2 years later to find out. We can only choose to trust TM will keep their promise.

Or may be after fahmi announcement, all the 300mbps users (SWU or not) will get the 500mbps service title. Who knows right?

before TM introduces a new plan, TM will upgrade the speed to all existing users first.
Like the Turbo program

30/50Mbps to 100Mbps
100Mbps to 300Mbps
300Mbps to 500Mbps
500Mbps to 800Mbps
800Mbps to 1/2Gbps

Price according to your current monthly plan.

RM 119 - 300Mbps SWU 3.0
RM 129 - 300Mbps SWU 2.0

1 year or not, I don't care much. Already enjoyed 2 months free internet Even if it drop back to 300mbps, not much different as my utilisation is fairly low. It's just me, my spouse and youngest kid.

You should do it like me. After the turbo, I never renew the contract since it's finished in 2020. I rejected all the offers and promotions, until now SWU3.0.

Do you guys still remember that TIME lower their 500mbps price to RM119? It happened right after the rumor about SWU 3.0 RM119 500mbps permenantly showed up on the internet. Coincidence? Of course it's not. As ISP rivals, TIME sure knew what TM is doing. It's the business 101. You lower the price, then I also follow loh. So yes. It's the real deal. The moment when TIME lower their price, it's actually indirectly telling us that the rumor is true.

30mbps (RM89) free upgrade to 300 mbps in October ?

I renew to SWU2.0 on May this year becoz that time Maxis has stop giving 6 months free bills for new transfer. I expect Unifi also will react by stop giving free bills to those with new transfer ID. Also there are no good update from MSAP that time. Better i grab the 6 months free bill before it gone. Who knows 2 months later come SWU3.0 with much better offer. My bad. Now stucked at 129 for another 1.5 years. 😁

They should be, but don't know when and how. So far these offers are for those already end of contract (or nearly end) and walk in to TM to extend another 2 years.
