Sorry I also don't know this. But I when the dc happens I see router lights either
1.1st light from left blinking then the 3 other light slowly appeared.
2. First 3 lights from left are on but the 4th light is red. For this case need to turn off router and modem manually then only it get solved.
Yes I am using that router that you mention. Can I just buy a better one from tm then they come and fix and install??
Bcs the IT shops near my house all unfriendly money face people, don't want to do business with them.

tplink ac1200 got auto reboot issue even tho updating TM firmware and not only you facing this issue. because it was firmware issue nothing can do about it unless you change the firmware to EU version where there are a thread in this forum section that you could find.

either continue using or just get a new router like tplink ax20 or any others brand that you prefer.

I recommend you if you buy through Shopee or Lazada if you can wait a bit. I bought TP Link AX20 at Shopee to replace the router and it works fine for now and speed still remains the same but it's a bit stable and it's also Wifi 6. If you don't want to spend much on router, AX20 is already enough if you're planning to change it. I really don't recommend you to change through TM as people already mentioned it, their router is a bit 'kayu' and the same thing may happen again. Just buy outside TM.

Could it be your power adapter? Try finding another with similar voltage

err buying from TM again is like you're back to square one

No other shops nearby? Or buy online? Or you are afraid you are not familiar with setting up the router?

I suspect the ac adapter is not good. Please try with other ac adapter with same voltage rating, current rating can be about the same or higher.

Yes, you can buy a new router through TM for RM188 without any contract renewal. But the type of router is given randomly depending on the stock available in an area.

The type of router that will be given to you through randomly

NETIS DL4480V (Unifi firmware)
AZtech DS244WSGV (Unifi firmware)
TP-LINK Archer C1200 (Unifi firmware)
TP-LINK Archer C6 (TP-Link firmware)
D-LINK DIR-842 (Unifi firmware)
D-LINK Covr-1100 (D-Link firmware)
D-LINK DIR-825M (D-Link firmware)
fiberhome sr120-a (Fiberhome firmware)
ZTE Unknown model (ZTE firmware)

I suggest you buy a router from outside

Thanks everyone for replying, too many people to quote.
I will buy myself since everyone recommend it. But me and my entire family are not tech savy people, so installing it will be a problem if need to do a lot of things..

Surprised that all the routers tm are selling are not up to standard...

TM router is a basic router. It only provides connection to the internet. The installer once mentioned if you want more than that, need to upgrade to a better router.

Do you guys happen to know know any physical shop that sell this kind of power adapter?? I check Harvey Norman and mrdiy website they don't have this kind of adapter. Don't want to order from online where I have to waste 2-5 days or more to get it..

I have the old unifi tv box (small white box), it now works with router LAN 4 iptv port only.

Now I plan to move my router to another location and use a switch to extend the connection to TV box area using normal Ethernet port, is there a way to configure the tv box to work with normal LAN port instead of dedicated iptv port?

The TV Box need dedicated VLAN to run. You can try to find switch with VLAN support so that you can set VLAN 600 for IPTV.

It is coming from the router. You must have QoS enabled. QoS is Quality of Service. Basically, it prioritises certain traffic such as gaming, voice, or video, based on your preference. Try to check if you have it enabled somehow.

From what I've seen on this thread older installations seem to get a tplink or a dlink, new ones are a very generic branded white box router (Aztech)

Just use your own router, it will be better

Well just note that whatever name you set as your wifi name you'll end up promoting for them
their stock firmware always adds @unifi to the end of your wifi name

I checked it and I found that it's turned off. Kinda weird that is suddenly in my log when it's off.

The Fastest Trans-Pacific Submarine cable is NTT's PC-1.
https://pc1.com

It has the shortest route and lowest latency connecting Ajigaura, Japan and Harbour Pointe, Washington(nearby Seattle).

The Fastest Trans-Atlantic Cable however is GTT's Hibernia Express.

Can, you trunk HyppTV's vlan600 onto the same cable as your LAN. You'll need some VLAN aware router and switches for this.

This is a simplified version of what's in my house.

Or pull another cable just for HyppTV.

It is understood the QOS function cannot be activated if there is an IPTV port or NAT function enabled

Are you using the stock TM router? If yes then its the router problem not Unifi network problem. Its normal with their crappy router. Just get yourself a own router and you wont be facing any disconnection issue except for Asus routers for some reasons. I am using this dlink router which I bought during the 22 March sale. Been using it for 28 days now. So far it has been very stable without any issues. You can consider this router too.

The red color VLAN line, I currently just use normal ethernet cable to connect, what's special cable need to be done? and I guess I have to configure something with the switch to make the trunk aware of vlan600?
