QUOTE(xCryptik @ Jun 3 2020, 10:01 AM) You must be a subscriber to other broadband to join this campaign. Breakdown of bill is RM49 of 30Mbps plus RM30 Aneka pack TV but no box given, still charges us monthly for 2 years...BUT this tell us that they're able to charge ONLY RM39 for 30Mbps. Re-contract when change plans, is completely UNFAIR policy!!! I'll terminate in mid-Sep and go for 4G unlimited is better. 1x Hotlink + 1x GX30 + 1x Yes Konfem is also same price and portable. 😋😋 |

QUOTE(shaktiv8 @ Jun 3 2020, 11:33 AM) Hi guys, I keep losing my connecting once a day, and I’m not sure why. It’s also set to reset everyday at 5AM, so I don’t think it is only designed for about 8 hours of usage right ? I use an AX88U, and when the internet drops the lights on the modem looks normal. The wan port on the router is red and the webgui can’t be accessed for a while Does this look like a router or modem or isp issue ? ![]() |

Just found out that my BTU only support up to 100 Mbps. May I know if anyone have experience in changing BTU with TM? How much is the cost and how about contract?

How much is the cost and how about contract? BTU is lifetime warranty. If it is faulty, TM will change it without additional charge.https://www.tm.com.my/Home/Broadband/unifi/...ipment-BTU.aspx If your existing package is lower than or equals to 100M, the BTU should still be OK. QUOTE(Fantasia @ Jun 3 2020, 12:59 PM) Dunno why TM keeps doing that. Give 300Mbps but never change the BTU. My friend also the same. Just report to them and tell them you can’t get more than 95 on your PC using a cable. They’ll come and check and change the BTU for you. CS will mention RM53 charge and all that but you should not be charged anything.Suggest you put the TM router back on when they come to check. If not they’ll start blaming the problem on anything they don’t recognize. This post has been edited by soonwai: Jun 3 2020, 02:05 PM |

I just called TM, the CS told me I might have to pay for new modem. I will argue with them after the technician come to check. If can change without additional fee, how about my contract? Will it get renewed? https://www.tm.com.my/Home/Broadband/unifi/...ipment-BTU.aspx If your existing package is lower than or equals to 100M, the BTU should still be OK. maxis customer with contract and without only gain a 42" worth 500 if sell outside. the RM500 need to pay to maxis if on contract so it doesn't translate back to saving to customer.
i rather they reduce the bill over 24/mths rather than give TV. Not enticing enough for me to move over just for a TV, need to advertise and deal with buyer to get the cash. troublesome. Meh |
