Its on forums that I realise some DIR-878 has been known to run at max 100 Mbps.
I chat with them. They reset port & can measure 300 speed.

Anyone here has a spare Asus RT-AC68U for sale ?

Guys I would like to ask for your help, I've planning to file a report against TM. But i need some evidence to log the report.
Here is what I need
1. A TM bill with all the different pricing. (You can hide your personal info) and share it here.
2. Especially those who are still paying around RM69-RM100 for only 2-8Mbps speed.

I hope this can help some of the users to get cheaper rate for their bill. Hopefully MCMC and KKMM will step in.

good luck...

If this is real that new 30Mbps for RM39 and 100Mbps for RM79,
While still charging locked contracts existing subs for RM89 and RM129, then it's was UNFAIR treats!!

Why still tied us 24-months contracts and overpaid Premium Unifi Bills?

So fed up and wanna terminate after re-contract end in mid-Sep.
*
the only way to force tm to standardize the plans is all unifi users terminate their contracts now

which unlikely will happen

I mentioned some models of the DIR-878 are affected. I am always the most unlucky ones to choose the defective chipset.

I dont want to waste my energy to play with TM..
Just get a vpn and smooth smooth again.
U see if they solve this problem this week, and next week another problem come.
And need to wait them to fix after few weeks, never end u know.

So Conclusion - " Get Your Own VPN ". (Best with dedicated use vpn)

Can strongly consider so. I posted in another thread in my journey of terminating my TM line and managed to force through a RM500 penalty only. On top of that, TM were also fine an undisclosed sum.

Link:
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry96622343

TM recently changed their General T&Cs online to reflect the new penalty of 'balance remaining months' from the previous 'RM500 only penalty', which is what was stated in their General T&Cs before March 2020.

I suggest those who have signed before March 2020, to push through on the version of General T&C which is of only 'RM500 only penalty' as it is of gross injustice to tweak such a clause which favours TM alot. I can assist who ever who wants to lodge a complain against MCMC and fight all the way against TM.

Unless you haven't read the promo correctly, the keyword is come back. Means you got to be currently subscribing to other provider (Maxis) to entitle the promo.

Wireless and optical fiber are two different things. Wireless are affected by what is happening in surrounding but not to fiber. Speed on both media can be affected by traffic but only wireless can be affected by environment. smile.gif

For those who interested to follow up on my progress, just a quick update of what is the status regarding I wanted the same package they offer for Maxis Fiber users.

I've been dealing directly with the state manager since last year before they deploy Unifi in my area, so far still very friendly and helpful.

As you know they have many different departments in TM, they can't decide on this matter on their own, so they've forward my request to HQ and need to wait for next week to get the result. I also had a short chat with the manager, they understand I'm not satisfied, because if they do not resolve this I will definitely file a complaint at MCMC and contact KKMM. They are also afraid this issue will become another "Lowyat viral case." iirc, many years back one man almost take down Maxis, and the CEO came out to apologized.
