Hi, did anyone have problem with their Netis router? I believe it was Netis DL4480V, the white/orange router. I've had problem connecting to the net since using this router. All my game consoles ie. PS4, Switch, some mobile phones and even with LAN connected PCs have this problem. But it happened inconsistently, sometimes it's fine, sometimes not. Is my only solution is to buy a new router?

Guys, I am moving into a new house soon.
Here I having problem to choose between Unifi & Maxis.

My target is between 100-300Mbps plan as my family members quite heavy usage.

Unifi 100Mbps - RM129
Maxis 300Mbps - RM149
Unifi 300Mbps - RM199

I am both Unifi and Maxis home fibre user before this. Maxis is tapping on Unifi so the backbone performance will be similar, the different are the Router and Technical supports.
The router I will be using own Asus router, so the different now is only Technical supports if having issue especially related to ports and other root cause not related to Maxis whereby they need to wait for TM to action.

If you, which one you will choose? Worth to gamble on Maxis? Haha...

Wifi router I will use my own so much better than the stock 1.
When you switching from Maxis to Unifi for that TV promo, u don't have downtime during the transfer request period?
Coz is a new area, so not sure how good the performance. And yeah..RM149 for 300Mbps is tempting..haha

Where is your area bro? My few clients went to maxis center, they not allowed them to do the transfer request without the maxis equipments. Means they will have downtime

ONU doesn't usually need to be replace . Usually only the power adapter will spoil. And the ONU belongs to TM regardless you use Maxis or Unifi. You still need to keep the ONU and return it should you decide to terminate one day, or pay the penalty charge.
How long is the transfer process? I was told just go to the respective center to register, and provide the transfer ID to the current ISP. Anything else?

if onu spoil maxis will take few day contact tm for replacement onu if me can't accepct few day no internet so i got spare second hand time fibre onu modem for replacement

maxis 4G at my area so weak if got spare a onu replace more better but fibre putus...... sama sama je

Nowadays even TM's ONU cannot be access by users. There's a topic in this forum talking about this.

Hi all, I am currently using 300mbps package. Paying RM139 per month exclude SST.
I remember I signed up this package few years ago and enjoying the 24 months discount of RM70 until recently, they said the promo discount will not be available until October 2020.
I realize the current package for 300mbps is RM199 per month. Is there any way I can appeal for the promo discount extension?

Just transferred to Unifi today, and given Aztech 2 in 1 router.

dns/port forward and everything is fine on my wired desktop. But I just now realized my phones can't connect to the internet. It accepts the wifi password but theres just no internet on the phone.

Any ideas ?
Edit : the aztech uses the same config/fw as the older Netis router

What if I applied relocation but the new location unifi port is full?

That kind of budget better stay with stock router lah
RM200 won't get you anything good
Be patience & save RM100 each month so you can get a decent router. Something like ASUS RT-AX56U

In the meantime just be patience with your current router. Don't rush to buy a router
