QUOTE(cool.seabreeze @ Jan 20 2020, 04:03 PM) heh! heh! not full speed unlimited data. Once you hit 300GB, according to their Fair Usage Policy, your 4G speed will be slowed down. Wow ... you tested the data limit and what you do on the 4G with 300Gb ? Was checking some mobile plans last year with celcom, digi and maxis. All plans that I checked that have data quota like 50GB etc has unlimited internet access. It is just not full speed unlimited access!! So in a way almost all plans are now unlimited data!! My average are 20Gb per month only |

QUOTE(QuantumEdge @ Jan 20 2020, 08:46 AM) My bad, thought they're not allowed to venture into existing market of TM Wrong again, existing market of TM can be tapped by any ISP including TIME if they are willing to invest.Still, if only our national fiber backbone is managed by TIME… There are many, many, many high rise apartment previously on TM VDSL then TIME put fiber infra |

Vlan,PPPoE all need to set our self. But the advantage is Routeros having a lot of function that is not set-able in normal consumer grade router. ![]() i was plan buying Mikrotik thinking now canceled haha hard for me ASUS Router configure very easy suitable for me ASUS |

QUOTE(pakji @ Jan 21 2020, 12:03 AM) Mikrotik router all configure very hard not suitable for me Hard to configure but the performance and price is reasonable.i was plan buying Mikrotik thinking now canceled haha hard for me ASUS Router configure very easy suitable for me ASUS Their selling pre-built router price equal to buying their routeros license,so almost buy one free one logic for me..haha But the disadvantage is some newer protocol or something else that is widely use didn't included in the current routeros build, always need to wait for years for them to include those future-proof settings. Like the vpn client function will having problem with some vpn provider, unless u want to waste some time to slowly change some config to get better speed and stability. Now i am waiting them to add the wireguard vpn tunnel protocol for the future vpn tunnel usage and use it with cloudflare warp will get and stable connection and better routing. Hopefully the latest ROS 7 will include a lot of new future-proof setting and maybe at that time i may build a mini pc as soft router with ROS. |

QUOTE(MGM @ Jan 21 2020, 05:15 AM) Can provide the link to this FAQ? Here is the link to the FAQ.I think by taking up YEP2019, our contract is extended, so probably can't make changes. https://www.tm.com.my/tv/assets/docs/FAQ%20...acks%202018.pdf You are probably right. |
