No suitable for normal user.
Need to setup at least 10min for the internet.
Vlan,PPPoE all need to set our self.
But the advantage is Routeros having a lot of function that is not set-able in normal consumer grade router.

I saw many people get their 800 mbps and how does it work? I read the first post regarding the "turboed"for the existing customer and I wonder if I'm still able to get 800 mbps for new plan?

Wow ... you tested the data limit and what you do on the 4G with 300Gb ?  devil.gif
My average are 20Gb per month only  bangwall.gif

christina1 coolman128

Sorry for the misunderstanding, the data usage for the 4G never did hit 300GB a month. The highest was about 250GB. Hotspot with one client (so total 2 devices) streaming from VIU, netflix and Youtube.

My Jan 2020 bill seems to be correct. No change in the High Speed Internet charge of RM49 for Turbo 300 Mbps.

It is the same amount as before YEP 2019.

I started with Unifi 5 Mbps. Upgraded to 10 Mbps. Then 30 Mbps. Then Turbo to 300 Mbps.

There could be a fee increase along the way, but I can't remember when. smile.gif

You can just sign up to 30Mb/s & test by yourself
If not enough then you can upgrade to 100Mb/s anytime with a new contract

very good answer...this should pinned on 1st post to those asking the same question

I think so too.

Otherwise I pay only RM69 (High Speed Internet $49 plus Residential Voice RM20) before tax for 300 Mbps. laugh.gif

Maybe I can try to DOWNGRADE the Unifi TV from Ultimate Pack (RM60) to Ruby Plus Pack (RM30). Can save another RM30. smile.gif

Generally the longer you are as a Unifi customer, the more benefits you get (either speed upgrade or subscription reduction).

Subscription reduction? How much is the reduction? 10%?

Is the benefit also available for the lowest Unifi package?

Sorry, what I mean is that speed upgrade is usually given at a reduced price to an existing Unifi customer when compared to a new customer subscribing the same speed.

Got it. By the way, how much average user is paying for the 800 mbps?

If I am not mistaken, existing Unifi customers subscribed at 100 Mbps are Turbo Upgraded to 800 Mbps in 2018 at no extra cost.

I have no idea how much were they paying for their 100 Mbps before the Turbo Upgrade 2018.
