How merry this forum has gotten! and TSG is definitely panicking as they're losing a big chunk of users lol. There really is no reason to stay at TSG given worse rates, no fractional share... (or prove me otherwise)

Handwritten everything. Was lazy to edit it. Plus, this is what TSG told me: You will need to fill the attached form, sign it physically, re-scan it and send it back to us with a copy of your ID.

No, I am de-linking my account from TSG. I opened my account through TSG last year.

How to verify that TSG has been delinked?

I'm not sure yet. But if you check your Activity Statement the Master Name under Account Information is TradeStation International Ltd. So maybe I will see if there is any difference tomorrow.

Even if TSG give the same commission/margin rate as IBKR, I'd still prefer IBKR since I don't have to go through advisor.
There's also the added benefit of fractional share under pure IBKR.

TSG main profitability is from the marked-up fee. If it's gone, there is no reason to stay in business.
Quite sad actually since those at TSG will likely lose their jobs. TSG will be missed.

Most obvious sign is when you log into IBKR there is an IBKR Pro logo.

Okay, received an email today and was told to call their Professional Services for verbal verification.

To further add fuel to fire, I suggest them to lower commissions below that of IBKR. Old customers like me will be indifferent to IBKR if TSG lower the commission charges to the same level as IBKR, but to attract new customer, they must undercut competitor's price, so ceteris paribus, they need to lower their commission charges below IBKR's level.

Time to show our pricing power.
