Just FYI in you are interested to delink from TSG.
These are the steps i have taken when i switched to IBKR.

In order to request a manual internal transfer please create a ticket online by following the steps below.
Please log into your client portal -> support -> scroll down to “web ticket” -> compose -> new ticket -> subject: manual internal transfer -> search Ibot -> continue to ticket -> Category: Funds & Banking – Position Transfers -> preview ticket and submit

In the detailed description (body) please mention the source/destination account numbers along with the positions/cash to be transferred. Please note that such transfers are subject to compliance review and approval. Time for review and processing upon approval can take up to 3 weeks.

Cheers.

I have never delinked before, and my conversation with TSG was that they will provide me a form to delink from Financial Advisor (TSG), as for the subsequent procedures I was not clear of.

Would it be necessary to transfer our positions when it's already within IBKR's custody? (just thinking out loud, still exploring it)

p.s. was just chatting with TSG, apparently they had no idea about the change too (IBKR didn't inform them lol).
I'm pushing for more clarity in terms of the change/delinking/relink procedure etc.

Sent a ticket to IBKR and was told I need a written consent from TSG. Sent a ticket to TSG and received an email on filling a form and emailing it to them.

Please share with us when you get the answer, I'd like to know if it's that easy to "break up but keep TSG as doormat for when IBKR forsakes us" 😂😂

For sure, i believe many TSG clients are going through the same mindset haha, delink now and test water with IBKR.

Until IBKR one day impose some random fees then guai guai crawl back to TSG lol!

Anyways im planning to upload a video to give an initial update to the peeps online, i think people deserve to know this info

Yeah I fear it's a short term promotion like Prosperus. But I doubt it is.

Maybe can email IBKR to check if it's "promo" or permanent change before delinking and change.

If we want to return to TSG, is there a relink form that we can submit to TSG?

The funny thing is when I contacted IBKR they ask me to talk to TSG because I'm under TSG contract. That Infinite loop laugh.gif

IBKR sent us an email. The change seems to be permanent. Applies to friends&family accounts and family offices too

This is good news. So if we sign up with the normal ibkr, we can buy fractional shares without having to pay the $10 monthly fee yea?

Yep. Just pay the normal commission fee (35c/100 share) plus minimal exchange fee
