has anyone opened TSG/IBKR joint account before? If yes, is the process the same as opening individual account?

Thanks for the feedback as I've emailed TSG last week but haven't got their reply at all.

Did anyone think of legacy planning, ie what happens to your money in IBKR if you're ko?

can we use Transferwise that we open from Malaysia to transfer from SG account back to MY bank account?

I remembered someone saying to transfer money from SG to MY using Instarem, we need to open account with Instarem SG instead of using Instarem MY account.

For those using IBKR, do you trade using mobile apps/web/client apps? From the screen shot, the client apps seems complicated to use

Hi, I just applied IBKR trading account via TSG. It's under review process but there's a section saying We review funded account applications first.

Do i have to fund before account approval? Is it advisable to do so?

Also, when and where (which email address) do i submit the documents for approval?

There is a section asking to email your digital documents to newaccounts@interactivebrokers.com email address with your account number as the email subject. Is this the place i should submit my docs?

The docs to submit are passport/NRIC and utility bill? Is that correct?

Strange that I don't see any step in the application process to upload any documents. In which part do you upload the documents if you can still remember?

ok i can see the upload documents button now....i tried uploading to IBKR SG and prompted to login, but everytime after login, it brings me to this Fax/Mail Sending Instructions page again and if you click Upload Documents button, if redirects to login page again. This loops again and again...not sure where it goes wrong.

seems like my account is created after receiving a call from someone from IBKR (which doesnt sound professional/business like).

now, I'm seeing this page. I want to transfer $ to my MBB SG account and from there to IBKR SG. So should i select Transfer Fund, select SGD and make a deposit instructions in IBKR Client Portal and then from my MBB SG account do a FAST transfer to IBKR SG Citibank account? Is the steps correct?

Thanks for your help.

Since we'll be creating deposit instructions in IBKR and deposit from my SG bank account to IBKR SG account, anything I have to do in TSG web site? Apart from 1 email from TSG, didn't receive anything else from TSG like login ID etc

I'm trying to reset my IBKR password from IBKR web site but one of the step is asking me to enter the code from the security device. I've never received any device from IBKR. Any idea how to reset password apart from calling customer service via phone?

PS: I opened the IBKR account via TSG.

tried to reset the password from mobile also the same. asking for code from security device. not sure which security device that is referring to.

nope....just a field called Card Value to enter the number

just called Customer Service in US to reset (via web Skype - FOC call). need to wait a while to get through to CS though....

It's FOC because I'm dialing a toll free number in US. They just set a new temp password over the call and ask me to login and confirm. From there on, you change to different password

They ask for your username or account number. Then they ask you to provide answers to the security questions.

if i only have cash in TSG-IBKR account, do i need to fill up the transfer form after TSG delink is processed?
