Popular Bookstore is also using this kind of terminal, PBB terminal too.

This machine should be provided by Revenue (RevPay), support e-wallets as well.

But when I use ewallet at Popular, cashier will bring out another machine for ewallet. The machine looks like those old card terminal with keypad.

I could pay using any CC, paywave or Boost at CS Mini Market Kuching since last December.
The only thing I don't like is the random "keypad", 0-9 are located randomly so it is a bit troublesome to use PIN.

Checked with TMpoint staff, they said only can use payWave for TM bills, others need to be paid by cash. So no chance to pay TNB bills via payWave at TMpoint.

Quantum Visa
.
• 1x VIP Point for other retail spend (local)

WTA: TnG e-wallet reload - auto reload & quick payment entitled 1x VIP point for Quantum visa right ?

Don't know why, somehow after added card to auto-reload, been spending more than usual... On RFID toll and retail payments .... Lazy to use cash to pay ...
*
yes, others than contactless or exclusion should granted VIP Point

even with all this features, i'm still using my old way - early morning just spend some time skip toll and that's more saving if you pay by TnG for example buying TGV tickets with just RM10 or Combo Tuesday with just RM25 etc

My latest statement just came out. Yes, wave and pin is eligible.

Btw, anyone knows if online purchase Visa Secure OTP would reset the wave spending limit on this card?
*
Already tried. OTP doesn't reset wave spending limit.

1st transaction must be pin-based.

then there are limits:

1) rm250 per contactless transaction
2) cumulative rm500 contactless transaction amount or 9 times, whichever earlier -- then reset with PIN again
*
Wah so troublesome lol..reset with pin is only one time right? Anyway right now I’m using it for online transaction only haha

This is not exactly relevant to Public Bank Credit Card Thread.

Well, Maxis Pay (https://pay.maxis.com.my) will be decommissioned. If you go to Maxis Pay website, you will see the following message.

QUOTE
Announcement:  We are streamlining our payment channel to make your bill payment experience even better. Effective 1 Oct 2019, you will be able to pay your bill via MyMaxis App and Maxis Online Account seamlessly with single sign-on using Maxis ID. In line with this, Maxis Pay at pay.maxis.com.my will be decommissioned after 30 September 2019. Download MyMaxis App or head to Maxis Online Account now.

Let's hope that we can still get online cashback, if we pay with Public Bank Visa Signature Card and Quantum MasterCard, in www.maxis.com.my.

So meaning online transaction with OTP is not able to reset paywave limit. POS transaction means have to enter pin at card terminal, would Petrol swipe at pump be considered?

I think as long as you enter your pin, it will reset. Petrol should be fine. It said ATM also can. If you have any public bank nearby, just login with pin and cancel. Let everyone know status.

I am not reinstating my QV, so can't help.

can do easily at petrol kiosk.

just preset an amount (eg RM1), authorize with pin, then cancel it. the RM1 will float for few days, then autocancel.

My slip is from Maybank. It shows

Ent Tyoe: Wave

Pin Verified

My statement date is 20 something. Let's see if this is still consider contactless transaction for QV.  tongue.gif

I might get the 3%/5% cash back form the local retail transaction as well. Transaction done on 1/9/19 @ 13:xx:xx.  tongue.gif

Do you mind sharing which email? I checked their website, got multiple emails.

And what documents needed?

The whole process took how long?

Used QV contactless for the first time and I didn't need to use PIN & Pay for initial transaction.

I tried just now at Ding Tai Fung, MV.
