Called CS again and this round said I can appeal after I spend RM 500 on QV. OK, I will give in and call back after I spend RM 500.

Not sure if this could be the problem but did you take note of which Bank's terminal that Grub is using? I encountered unsuccessful paywave transactions on CIMB terminals at Jaya Grocer.

For those swiping petronas at the kiosk to reset the paywave limit:

After key-in my pin and the lcd display asked us to remove card and continue to pump, I tried pressing the cancel button at the keypad but nothing happen.
Is there any way to cancel an approved transaction?

pickup the pump And put back. it will end the pump session.

Or press the amount that u want to pump like RM10 or RM1 or jump pump in and let go (few cents).
Petronas pump at kiosk always have RM200 pre authorised charge.

Few months back, i try this way before, does not work for my card, not sure why.

I tried few times on take up the pump handle and put it back does not stop the transaction. As a result i have to pump petrol (less than RM1) to stop the transaction. In my case on petronas kiosk pump, reset works if any amount are charged.

Correct, that's why i had to pump like RM1 too this morning. Scared to just drive away and other people pump.

Or probably do not work on an older kiosk pump.
May be i should give another try again in 2 different place (old and new station) next time.

What about other petrol brands? Shell, caltex.. any idea to cancel easily? Else no choice but pump small amount everytime. I am pretty sure the car who queued behind me must be scratching their head

Shell has a different kiosk than petronas, heard can cancel it easily (yet to try). No pre authorised RM200 after pump. Not sure about Caltex.

I have tried resetting at Shell and BHP before. Cancelling is just a button. Only that Shell machine will print out receipt after cancellation, wasting paper 😅. I have tried once at Petronas and it couldn't be cancelled so I never want to go back. Petronas has no buttons to cancel and lifting up the pump and putting it back did not cancel it. In the end, got to pump, and RM200 was held. RM200 will not be held at Shell or BHP after cancellation.

I can confirm that we can’t cancel the transaction at Petronas.

Not a big deal if pump RM0.10 and RM200 credit limit is locked for 2 days.
