hm... u can try create ur own investment portfolio if you have some etf in your mind instead of use their default portfolio. i start by using SA default portfolio. not great but not too bad either (my personal preference). i am not investment or econ savvy person... but now i only focus on selected etf..
i hv restructure all my etf in SA and manage on my own using SA. means i only select etf that i wanna buy manually and my return close to 10%. some say there are better platform but again its personal preference.

It is not about the better platform πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ but long term paying more fees while no control about buying and selling price as history has shown that SA will always sell at the lowest of the day πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Hi friends, it's been a long while. Just sharing for reference... after being in SA for about 1 year, I exited fully from Stashaway and switched over to IBKR to buy VWRA (ETF representative of total international large and medium stocks) every first week of the month, no selling at all.

Portfolio returns (USD TWR) are 1-year: 12.48%; YTD: 16.80%

Fees are 0.22% p.a. ETF ER; RM5 flat + 0.35 USD monthly (MoneyMatch fee and Broker fees.)

It's not exactly apples to apples, but I hope it can be a good reference point for comparison.

Does anyone know whether the 0.3% fees for flexible portfolio includes the expense ratio of ETF?

For example if I buy ISAC (expense ratio 0.2%), does the 0.3% already inclusive of the 0.2% expense ratio by ISAC, which means stashaway takes 0.1%

Or it is 0.3% on top of what ISAC charges, which is 0.2% + 0.3%?

I know it's not simple direct addition but I'll just do that here to keep the example simple.

If not mistaken, the ETF expense ratio is already reflected in its share price.
0.3% is standalone stashaway fees which they will show the deduction in your monthly statement.

ISAC expense ratio is charge directly through the ETF price

So 0.3% is separate fee charged by SA as platform usage fee πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Don’t bother πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ as they very aggressive now asking me to invest but it still underperforms the market

Isn't the transaction price shown in the app transaction history and the monthly statement?

Only after the trade is executed πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ so you won’t have any control to set the buy and sell price as transaction price control is by SA πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

I don't think can change region. I'm not IT person but the user database should be separate.

Have to open fresh account, but might want to ask StashAway Singapore if can convert from Malaysia account, find them in social media.
