I transfer some fund from Simple to risk 36 on 26th January, Stashaway only official invest the fund by today which is 7 days duration, if minus 2 weekend and 2 recent public holidays, it took 3 business days to get the fund transfer process done.

Stashaway is not a good place shall we intend to time during the market drop, due to the delay processing transaction time of Stashaway which I think is the most uncompetitive element it has compare to other investment tools.

I just treat Stashaway as investment saving account for dca my extra unused money.

If I intend to time the market, I will opt for either direct stock market or FSM related funds such as tech, ark and us funds.

Yet gold also goes down together now 😅

No, I will still invest in 36 portfolio, instead don't bother to time the market as Stashaway isn't work for it. I just put in money whenever I have extra cash balance every month.

Why not invest simultaneously on SA, FSM and Stocks? As they have their own pro and con.

Just adjust our investment portfolio ratio according to our own investment strategy depend if you have more or less time to dig into the market research. Also depend on the risk resistant you can cope with.

My portfolio ratio for this 3 vehicle currently is 10% SA 10% Stocks 80% FSM due to I am still learning the investment foundation analysis and basis.

My target to adjust the portfolio gradually to 30% SA 20% Stocks 50% FSM. I am willing and feel good to spend my time on investing learning instead of spend time playing games 😉

Hi everybody, just for fun fact.

Just realize my 1 year old Stashaway journey has a positive return of 1.58% which is around same level to current 1 year FD rate.

Not Bad?

Hahahah, anyway I will still keep investing as I think we should give Stashaway a chance to proof it can bring us good returns with recommend min 3 years investing terms

USD dollar to MYR keep raising, it's 1 USD to 4.349 MYR now, any insight will this affect our Stashaway or other ETF investment in near terms?
