I think tm point is misleading you. Back in Jan 2019 I went TM point to apply a new line under the same name, then once installed, go terminate without penalty. Now the overpaid portion for the older line also refunded.

You can try to argue there, sure TM point will give in. BTW I didn't even have to argue my case.

For the Unifi Lite, anyone knows when the quota will set in? Supposed to be Feb 15th but it seems my speed is quite fast despite quota should be finished by now.

Walked in into TMPOINT center, i told CS that I want to downgrade to 100Mbps Package.
I wanted to maintain the free call (new plan has 600 minutes of free call, should be enough for my parents usage)
I wanted to main the STB for hyppTv usage, CS told me once you downgrade to newer package you cannot view your STB anymore.

Therefore it seems that I am left with no option now but to maintain my package.

500Mbps out of contracted, RM179
wanted to downgrade to a cheaper package (everything is still working)

Router not really an issue actually, i hope they replace my old router for free if i downgrade (new contract?)
continue to use current STB (CS claim that the new Unifi line would not support the STB anymore)

the 100 package also included STD20 which is 600mins free call ..
buy Android box ..so that no need maintain the hypptv package

But looking at past post, quite a few in this forum who downgraded still able to use their STB. So why not you just downgrade, and is it really bad not having the STB?

Already got the statement? Didn't charge you for downgrade fees? I'm thinking to remove my Aneka package and retain only Ruby, then will pay RM 99 for 500Mbps+STD.

My story is Ultimate in Dec 2017 then changed to Ruby + Aneka in Oct 2018, I don't even know if I'm under contract or not. laugh.gif
The one in Oct 2018, they charged me downgrade fees but I managed to get it waived because it wasn't initiated by me. tongue.gif

how ? normally they will say if you downgrade unifitv package, the discount provided will be removed... so will end up paying more

fee for downgrade Hypptv plan is only RM10, why need to wait for contract end if you really not watching it.
