Just checked, I guess is Huawei EchoLife hg8240h and the router is DIR-615. And now my unifi has been upgraded to 500mbps. So I will need upgrade router, BTU and also LAN cable right?

The HG8240H is gigabit so is ready for anything 300, 500 or 800Mbps. The DIR-615 have to change lah since it's only 100Mbps network ports. LAN cable Cat5e is OK. Check yours.

Maybe I should do the same but mine is 300mbps @rm129. Paying rm99 with ruby+std20 is very tempting now that I got a couple of android boxes.

I was informed no quota.

TM told me no further upgrade to 100Mbps.... told already upgrade 10X ie 1Mbps to 10Mbps... Thats why I chose to just upgrade to the RM129 100Mbps.

TM should provide new router for you since contract renew for 2 years.

No new equipment if old one still working but warranty should be renewed for one year. I suppose you can fix the "still working" part if you need to claim for a new router.

You can actually get a new router. Try to ask for it, but buy your own to use lol.

ya ...initially thinking to terminate and reapply new line ..but TM point told transaction period will need 1month ...so 1 month May not have Internet Access ...
give up ..so just do the downgrade..
