I went full throttle yesterday from 6.30am to 10.00 pm.. Only stopped for prayer (13:30 - 14:45, 16:45-17:00 and 19:45-20:00 ). Still trying to find a good strategy to get gross RM300.

Is Suprima S eligible as a Grab car? If it is, which category does it fit in? JustGrab only? I've been looking at the list of rejected models, Plus and Premium (and obviously 6s but Suprima S is not a 6s). Suprima is not listed in any of those.

P/s: Since one of the requirements for Plus category is for the car to have at least 400L usable boot space, I found two conflicting numbers for Suprima's. PaulT4n has it listed at "309L by ISO/VDA measurement" and Carbase.my has it listed at 427L.

How much you get doing this? Which area?

After excluding Grab Commmision, fuel and meal, income was RM253 including the bonus and tips. In total of 19 trips, starting from Shah Alam and just go with the flow wherever the trip brings me.

No one likes to be kerbau. But unfortunately, there are bills to pay, priority to sort out and fast cash by driving Grab is available in front of my eyes. I hope you can relate.

Guys, later when we have to register and apply PSV, puspakom inspection, commercial insurance and all, our operating costs is gonna shoot up so much..most likely have to declare income and pay income tax also. They levelling playing field with taxi drivers, but I feel GRAB fares are too low...Taxis don't pay income tax, and charge RM1.95 per km,,whereas GRAB's fee is about RM1 per km..it is so unfair. I feel GRAB's market share is so strong, they should increase their fares by 50% also, people will still use,,no difference...not fair to us drivers.

It is not a level field . Taxi fellas are doing full time. Many Grabbers are just doing part time. hmm.gif

Taxi can pick up riders on the road side , charge 50% with midnight surcharge, drive at bus and taxi lane and get discounted price on toll. No crappy commission, and if they using grab app, get discounted rate as well. hmm.gif

Then the Govt should not regulate e-hailing drivers like taxis. Can u imagine, need to apply PSV, commercial insurance, puspakom..i tell u only the full timers will do those...70% of part timers may just quit Grab..too much hassle.
Also, I heard we may need to put a GRAB sticker on our car to show that we are e-hailing driver..really become like taxis...

In term of regulation is level field play, but talk about vehicle and fare is not level field play.

Taxi = Commercial vehicle, Grab = Personal vehicle. So for insurance for e-hailing just top up 15-20% of insurance premium will do.

Taxi = can wait at designated area, Grab = Cannot wait at designated area. Sooner it will enforce every e-hailing car to put sticker on windscreen.

What car you're using for Grab-bing? What was the mileage for that day (6am-10pm) and how much the fuel cost you? Thank you in advance.

It has never been about levelling the field from start. Anthony Loke is just a no-balls asshole who is afraid of facing retributions from the taxi gangs. That's all.

Taxi passengers pay lower toll fee compared to Grab riders.
