There are two of them at the eboulevard area, Heng Lok and Heng Dai
Heng Lok curry mee for morning is quite good

If you are willing to explore further, subang Bestari side there's Yau Yat Khan, the offerings there are quite to my preference. That area got a shitload of bavi offerings
*
To add to this, Heng Dai's chicken/char siew rice + wantan noodles during daytime is not bad also. Shame that the evening steamed fish stall moved away now, I feel like it was main attraction for dinner at heng dai...

It's a relatively small-sized shop in Lakeside Mall, but the few times I've been there got consistent customer flow la, hopefully it's enough to keep it afloat.

The article is not wrong but also not entirely right. I felt that SDP was too "obedient" and "good hearted" in building up all the infrastructure connecting neighbouring townships to GCE BUT failed to do one thing - direct connection to DASH (whether not in their power to do so i don't know). We all know that persiaran mokhtar dahari is a nightmare coming from puncak alam and the surrounding neighbourhoods as the road is just not sufficient to cater to all the traffic from the development and upcoming developments. Thus when elmina green provides another way for those huge traffic population out, of course they will take it and unfortunately it all comes through elmina. Kwasa damansara will face the same problem but Kwasa is smart, they have not connected/open the roads yet through Kwasa even though its all built up inside because once the traffic is opened, they will find it hard to sell the projects. I bet if you close the connection from the surrounding neighbourhoods to elmina green, traffic will be super clear! But the problem will be transferred elsewhere. That is not the solution however (of course I will be happy for them to close the road). The solution is to build the MRT all the way to puncak alam. Now the situation is pushing for our govt to extend the MRT to elmina and puncak alam! The article is there to create political pressure for that so lets add to that !

The MRT is an option not the solution for congestion woes in KV... you can see in Cheras / Kajang... even though MRT lines over there but the traffic issues still persistent and getting worsen day to day...

i do agree the missing link to DASH but still ....authorities need to be more proactive to find prompt solution rather than keep it as politician capital...

Sure, Elmina can close the road, but Subang Bestari and Kg Melayu Subang also want to close their road because of Elmina. But EG people always go to Saujana Utama commercial… so how? hehe

Elmina congestion is a byproduct of the small Jalan Kuala Selangor, never-ending LBS road construction in Puncak Alam, inconsistent single-double lanes on Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari, lack of direct access to Guthrie, and no connection from Guthrie to DASH. biggrin.gif

Agreed. That is why the failure lies with the authorities. Approve project left right and center but all the infra is underdeveloped. SDP builds all the infra first before selling project. The authorities super happy when SDP wants to develop elmina because SDP will build all the infra for the government. Puncak alam side is becoming more and more developed by the day. They must extend MRT because more highways is not the solution.

This is a township development, not a pocket land development, of course SDP have to build the infrastructure, if the infrastructure already built by government, their land costs will be much much higher.

SDP should build the roads by taking into account of their township design & planning. Look at kwasa land, they have built a flyover at the Kwasa Damansara junction even the it is not necessary for now as the whole township will only be completed 10 years later, and they are now building an underpass near the kwasa sentral side.

The 2 lane dual carriageway that connects Denai Alam with jalan sg buloh was built at early stage of the the township. the concept of Denai Alam was inspired by traditional Malay kampung communal living and a low-density development of 8 units per acre. SDP should be responsible to enhance the ingress egress if they want to build a Elmina city which includes high-rises.

Hope SDP will do it right this time with the proposed interchange at Elmina Ridge 🤞🏻

Nope I'm seriously curious, as I was under impression that SDP is a pretty good developer, and had bought Denai Alam property based on that. Recently bought property under Tropicana and had many woes regarding it, but I also heard people complain about other developers like Ecoworld, Sunway, UOA, etc etc. That's why I'm curious to ask, is there a developer that I'm unaware of that had done well in developing their projects?

You are right. No developer is perfect. The common issue is usually subpar workmanship. Complain, rectify and then move on. However this is bad planning infrastructure that affect majority of people commuting to work on daily basis for many years. How to rectify? Switch job to WFH or sell the house? I know some other major developer that can do better infra which i prefer not to mention it here.
