Maybe some agent / reseller here can say whether they were also told about the change in price. That would show there was a directive.

It is stated:

" * Promotion prices are valid for the first 24 months. On 25th month onwards, prices will be reverted to normal price. UniFi Advance 30Mbps - RM199, unifi plan 100Mbps - RM159, unifi plan STB 100Mbps - RM189. "

So its not just a error in the FAQ. Unless agents / resellers are always reading the FAQ and updating their info.

I just terminated my 4mpbs streamyx line last week and I am now using my Digi unlimited 4G connection on hotspot by plugging my phone into the USB port in my router and enabling USB tether when I get home from work. I get faster speeds for just RM 10.00 more than I was paying for streamyx. RM 140.00 vs RM 150.00 for Digi Infinte. I typically get between 10 to 40 Mbps vs just 4 Mbps on streamyx. Unifi is still not available at my house.

This is kinda true in this forum, all the "[insert product] fan club" thread titles are another sign of the same problem, we must change our attitude, always remember we are the consumers. Twitter is a whole another world tho, just look at the mentions. lol

I think only this one guy come to defend TM about this latest SNAFU. Most of the forumers here are all pouring šŸ”„ on TM.
This isn't an oversight by Tm it is a clearly trying to turn the tables on consumers who switched 100 Mbps/129 to save money.
TM only did it to save their ARPU.
TM doesn't do mistakes they do ARPU.

The last time I filed report to MCMC, TM just closed my case... I had to reopened it to follow-up...

I just wonder "what is the MSAP" ,is the RM159 still the price under MSAP, if so, then i think users can do nothing about it.

Im of the opinion that one cant simply tamper with such important things like FAQs. Think about this, if their website is not heavily secured and have lots of vulnerabilities, outiside hackers can simply modify however they want.

It cant be "mistake", TM is just doing post-apocalyptic measures to placate people while keeping things shady and hoping things will subside.

Dont let them blame it on "glitch" and "system error". Even so, the IT individuals in charge are still accountable for the wrongdoing. Can alipay, paypal bank etc simply claim "system error", "glitch" and "bug" for failure in online monetary transaction? Who else shud be responsible then...

Then again this outfit hae never had to please customers or fight competition..

We must also not forget the tens of thousands of employed or contracted.

Thanks for that. Yes, previously you can see the 30M package has 2 prices - normal and promo. Because that one is valid only for 24 months like those Bonanza days. But the 100M packages only has one price per package. Unlike today where the site shows a normal price and promo price for all packages. Anyway, hopefully all is settled now, until the next issue comes up...

BTW, the next issue could be the missing no quota until end of year and missing add-on quota from next year for 30M Basic from the FAQ.

Not yet. You have to wait. If you can't wait, go for the 100Mbps RM129 option.
