Upgraded to 500mbps (instead of 800mbps) after complain to MCMC.

TM CS called said that my account will be upgraded to 800m from my existing 100m(RM189 RYE2017). Now my perpetual  discount only RM100 and they remove my Aneka tv!

They make me can't complain duplicate service of iptv(aneka & ultimate) to reduce RM30.

Anyone facing same problem and manage to get back what you deserve?

Can I know how long does the TM CS called you after you complain to MCMC?

The Communications and Multimedia Ministry has called on Telekom Malaysia ™ to explain its high charges for Digital Subscriber Line based broadband service Streamyx and address customers' grouses with the service.

Minister Gobind Singh Deo said he has directed the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to contact TM and seek clarification over the matter, and a report would be released by next week.

"TM should be more concerned. They should provide an explanation regarding the Streamyx issue to their customers. What are the suggestions for resolving this issue?

"If Streamyx's copper infra (phone line cables) is not capable of delivering high speed (broadband), please state so and clearly explain what are its next steps (to solve the problem)? " he said in a tweet today.

He also pointed out keeping mum over the issue was not an option especially when there were so many Streamyx users in the country.

"Whatever the case, TM should value their customers and respond," he added.

Maybe some agent / reseller here can say whether they were also told about the change in price. That would show there was a directive.

It is stated:

So its not just a error in the FAQ. Unless agents / resellers  are always reading the FAQ and updating their info.

I think only this one guy come to defend TM about this latest SNAFU. Most of the forumers here are all pouring 🔥 on TM.
This isn't an oversight by Tm it is a clearly trying to turn the tables on consumers who switched 100 Mbps/129 to save money.
TM only did it to save their ARPU.
TM doesn't do mistakes they do ARPU.

I just wonder "what is the MSAP" ,is the RM159 still the price under MSAP, if so, then i think users can do nothing about it.

unifi didn't turbo my connection yet?

I just terminated my 4mpbs streamyx line last week and I am now using my Digi unlimited 4G connection on hotspot by plugging my phone into the USB port in my router and enabling USB tether when I get home from work. I get faster speeds for just RM 10.00 more than I was paying for streamyx. RM 140.00 vs RM 150.00 for Digi Infinte. I typically get between 10 to 40 Mbps vs just 4 Mbps on streamyx. Unifi is still not available at my house.

Do they even call...?  

The last time I filed report to MCMC, TM just closed my case... I had to reopened it to follow-up...
