Probably your laptop CPU isn't listed in microsoft database.

EDIT: it had came into my attention you mentioned the laptop is i7-8750H....., 4346084 should be able to install properly....unless your win10 version isn't 1803?

Normally, I would suggest deleting mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll from system32, but since you mentioned you had updated the bios, this is not an option.

KB4100347 contains Spectre mitigation microcode.
KB4346084 contains spectre and Foreshadow mitigation microcode.

KB4100347 is the one pushed down to win10 users by microsoft.
KB4346084 is the latest, must be manually installed by user. But there is one quirk bug that prevent this installation as I quote from a blog post just now.

Nope, that windows10.0-kb4100347-v3 only contains Spectre mitigation microcode and missing Spectre Variant 3a (CVE-2018-3640: "Rogue System Register Read (RSRE)"), Spectre Variant 4 (CVE-2018-3639: "Speculative Store Bypass (SSB)"), L1TF (CVE-2018-3620, CVE-2018-3646: "L1 Terminal Fault").

You can check the microsoft microcode version and compare it with intel microcode version.

Speedtest via cable on the laptop gave me stable 550-ish. I think my speed might've capped at 500Mbps.

Test using both mikrotik 750Gr3 and C3150v2 also yield similar speed prior installing this microcode patch.

Just tested on the servers you mentioned bro and yeah I got good speed too.

Haha..dunno. What I do know, the speed before I call up TM and before she opened a report was really low. At most 400Mbps-ish.
Right after, it getting better. Of course, my cpu originally caught up with microcode issues also play a part.
I'll monitor the speed the coming weeks while I'm still available at home although I'm pretty happy now I got good speed. Now, going to switch my focus to try getting my bill reduced

Maybe some agent / reseller here can say whether they were also told about the change in price. That would show there was a directive.

So its not just a error in the FAQ. Unless agents / resellers  are always reading the FAQ and updating their info.

I did check with customer service at TM Point when i walkin upgrade to 100Mbps (RM129) package, they say 600 mins free call
- only for all local fixed line or local mobile number.
- not for toll free number eg 1800, 1300 etc. this chargeable
- 600 mins call include TM line call to TM line
- after 600 mins, all chargeble except TM line to TM line (free)

Not TM, but my Digi offer unlimited call to local number and mobile. And yes they changed me 1300xx saw in my Digi bill
