QUOTE(rainingzero @ Sep 13 2007, 05:01 AM) highend windsor proc with F3 stepping can be get easily. the gem one is lower clocked windsor F3 such as 3800+ F3 really hard to get..dunno why la..... @sharpman u may oc ur proc, but cannot expect high/impressive ocing result as ur mobo got lower Vdimm selection. same case just like me.... u got good proc and rams there, maybe by changing to other mobo u can get good ocing result. but for me, i thinks its ok la to run ur X2 6000+ in stock. really syg la... yes,low end F3 is like non existance in Malaysia.dun say 3800+ the 4600+ also cant be found.the lowest i found is 5200+ This conclusion i got after 2days 'camping' in lowyat n Imbi looking for it. was thinking to order online..but the postage cost more than the proc.really dont do any justice at all.

Maybe I just oc abit la.. won't go too far.. god willing if got extra money later I'll think about changing mobo...or better get those new gpu to replace my 6800GS This post has been edited by sharpman: Sep 13 2007, 06:24 AM

Aww... shacks. I'm capped to 2.6. =( The thing just won't budge- I've loosened the RAM as far as it will go (5-5-5-15-21), 3x HTT and 262 bus.
Any more room you reckon? Volts? I thought the 480X chipsets overclocked way better than this.

QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Sep 11 2007, 09:03 AM) Added on September 11, 2007, 9:06 ambro, lower ht 3x..keep under 1000 up the vdimm try to stay at the lowest vcore first lower ur mhz.. then orthos.. up ur mhz until fail.. push the vcore again I try the following: Bus Speed: 280 mhz Multiplier: 10.5 Core Speed: 2940 mhz Vcore: Set 1.45v, system show 1.5v Memory Divider: 667 = 420mhz @ 1.9v HT: 3X @ 840 Orthosing still fail. I can only reach 2.83 stable as per my sig. Any idea, is it proc limitation? Vcore is really high de. Temp is good after using Xigmatek n X-1. 38'C till 54'C
