Tested my 4000+ stable until 2900 Mhz with stock Hsf.. 3000Mhz is unstable despite upping the vcore... dunno is it due to not burn-in enuf ???? Will experiment with some dram settings....

best way is to adjust the RAM setting 1st....
use the lowest ram setting...
see how far the proc can go.... nod.gif

actually,im kinda confuse a bit bout the way amd divider laugh.gif its a bit differ from intel one.

but will try later as my stock heatsink crying for being to hot already!! sweat.gif

need a better heatsink...last time pushing till 2.8Ghz..the temp shoot up too 60~65C when load. rclxub.gif

lower the trfc value instead of using 75NS. It is too tight for most of the value ram. However, if you are using D9 ram, just keep this value(75NS), i realized that D9 ram love being tighten, when i loose it , it won't work

yes that is correct for some reason D9's love that timing :S

for kingston and patriot value rams using hynix fpy5's, up the trfc to at least 127.5 or 195 for best ocability and stability biggrin.gif

Thks for the tips...since i'm using Patriot I'll ry this value. Tomorrow I will try to push it to 3G by changing the trfc... so far 2.9G is the most stable it can go .(already tried vdimm & vcore increase can boot but in XP crash. )

edit:M2N32-SLI shouldn't be prob to reach 3.0Ghz i think as it can pump up higher Vdimm compared to M2N-E.maybe u should lower a bit ur HT multiplier??
Need help. The highest stable so far is 2.83 ghz. I try the following after that:
-Lower HT to 4X (1120mhz)
-Lower Ram divider to 677 (420mhz), vdimm 1.9v
-increase vcore to 1.435 (but system show 1.488 in wndows/bios)

System still fail Orthos at 2.94ghz (280mhz bus speed, multiplier 10.5)

bro, lower ht 3x..keep under 1000
up the vdimm
try to stay at the lowest vcore

first lower ur mhz..
then orthos..
up ur mhz until fail..
push the vcore again
