QUOTE(nazril @ Jun 27 2007, 08:53 PM) u didnt stress for a long period?? ur cpu is dualcore so u have to stress em in double ways. open orthos for 2 times then u may select one of em for 0 cpu and the other orthos u select for 1 cpu. thats will make ur cpu 100% usage. for a good stability, kept em stressing about 1 or 2 days. juz my 2 cent.. all my oc also orthos passed 10+hrs...i think the time to change PSU lar... FMA not so reliable this days meh? planning to get FMAII 460W... any opinion? |

QUOTE(smokey @ Jun 28 2007, 09:25 AM) u r using tforce 6100? woot, so picky...i got the same board and when i use it with fmaII 460w, the pc cannot boot up... all fans moving, HDD LED forever light on but the POWER LED no light... b4 this used chapalang psu also no problem... at last changed to Acbel ipower 450w the next day and solve my problem... QUOTE(8tvt @ Jun 28 2007, 09:37 AM) i've no problem with my 400W enemax liberty.. hmm, wish me luck...but i heard the enermax problem with 500W above.. some mobo just picky on psu... sometimes chapalang can support but true power got problem... wish u luck.. QUOTE(jy14 @ Jun 28 2007, 12:10 PM) With the price of FMA, better u get something from SilverStone or Acbel. Go for the SilverStone ST400, only RM 175-180 at the moment. Its a better solution than other choices at the similar ranges. yea 24/7 is easy, bt it hung every midnight since 4,5 days ago...For best reliability of ur OC result, keep ur PC running 24/7. For 1 week, if no breakdown or auto-restart, then ur system is good to go. Of coz 24/7 means, idle sometimes, and load sometimes lo, not full load 24/7. For me, after I OC, i'll let it run at OC-ed speed for some time to see if it is really stable or not. Then i'll b able to leave my rig for folding and etc, can alwiz online and check mail anytime. Nonit to wait for load-up. hmm, so any suggestion for gud PSU wif around 400W~450W other than SilverStone ST400 n Acbel ipower 450w? |

QUOTE(cyberloner @ Jul 4 2007, 10:28 PM) nice comparison u got there... true winsors is better chip and better pin too.. yea bt smthg bad wif windsor rev.F2 is the temp...brisbane pin looks like easy to bend only... so need extra care for it... it clock higher that's why i change it... less ram speed but more core speed... what u choose? unless u got sempronic cpu there... sure u never want a brisbane at all =) happy oc all ... it reaches high temp on the same clock as brisbane as the vcore increases more... |

QUOTE(Amedion @ Jul 5 2007, 01:25 PM) I am using the same RAM like yours but one piece 1gb only... if u wanna oc very high, get brisbane as windsor cannot reach the clock as high as brisbane...This DDR667 value ram can do 890+ MHz only... Oh yeah... Can anyone give me some good reason to buy 3600 brisbane or 3800 windsor... If let say i able to clock brisbane to 2.7ghz... It's the same speed with windsor 2.6ghz or lower, rite? Overclocking higher but cannot obtain more performance is something that i dun want.. I want stable, 12hours per day usage, lifespan maintained, etc... summore the vcore needed is higher than brisbane on same speed... bt at the same speed, windsor wins... so it depends on wad u wan la... |

QUOTE(casperito @ Jul 6 2007, 09:17 PM) aiya... ignore the price drop laa.... of course now proc prices are darn cheap... brisbane can get @ RM195 onli @ LYP... dang... is it?lucky me i bought my proc last year but at the same price as now... but now proc is energy saving but u put a high end GC... then no different lo... still need a lot of power... calculate it using some 'special' calculator... ehehehe brisbane default 1.9 @ 1.25v OCed to 3.0 @ 1.25 - 1.3 uses about 103-111 watt from ur PSU.... lucky sempronic he got the '3.0' windsor.. muahahahaha... alreadi ask him to try 3.0 on the 1st time he got the proc.. but he said dun want.. afraid laa... ape laa... suda la... he got the F3 windsor? dang... i wan tat... |
