Got it from Biostar china, sorry I cant read chinese.

http://www.biostar.cn/supports/BIOS.asp?vI...ID=26&Value=551

I think the bios corrected the Brisbane Chip temperature reading, I might be wrong tho. Plus I already update/flash to R69AM828 also. its seems just the same like the previous R69AM727 bios.

Dont know about others but my Biostar TA690G give me Idle 26'C and load 29'C which is nonsence. Temperature below ambient.(window enviroment)
But in Bios its around 35'C-42'C.

But after I flash the lastet bios R69AM828 the temperature slightly increase and almost the same as in Bios (34'C-40'C).

How much should I keep my core temperature to?

Brisbane 3600+ here, 65 degrees CPU in ORTHOS on 2.5 normal?

Hi guys...

I'm new in this thread, I don't OC much but I plan to do it soon. Anyway a week ago my old 939 motherboard fried because of lightning strike (my mistake, forgot to pull out the plug).
So recently I got hold of AM2 X2 6000+ Windsor F2, stock cooler, Corsair XMS2-800 (2 x 1GB) running on Asus M2N-E motherboard.

Please add me in the list wink.gif | AM6000+ X2 Windsor F3 | sharpman | ASUS M2N-E | Corsair XMS2-800 | stock AMD cooler | no overclocking yet |

Edited: added my humble Super PI result (was doing some downloading + mp3, I don't know whether it affected the result or not)

highend windsor proc with F3 stepping can be get easily. the gem one is lower clocked windsor F3 such as 3800+ F3 really hard to get..dunno why la.....

@sharpman
u may oc ur proc, but cannot expect high/impressive ocing result as ur mobo got lower Vdimm selection. same case just like me.... sad.gif
u got good proc and rams there, maybe by changing to other mobo u can get good ocing result. but for me, i thinks its ok la to run ur X2 6000+ in stock. really syg la...tongue.gif
