Hi guys... I'm new in this thread, I don't OC much but I plan to do it soon. Anyway a week ago my old 939 motherboard fried because of lightning strike (my mistake, forgot to pull out the plug). So recently I got hold of AM2 X2 6000+ Windsor F2, stock cooler, Corsair XMS2-800 (2 x 1GB) running on Asus M2N-E motherboard. Please add me in the list | AM6000+ X2 Windsor F3 | sharpman | ASUS M2N-E | Corsair XMS2-800 | stock AMD cooler | no overclocking yet | Edited: added my humble Super PI result (was doing some downloading + mp3, I don't know whether it affected the result or not) This post has been edited by sharpman: Sep 13 2007, 03:12 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(rainingzero @ Sep 13 2007, 05:01 AM) highend windsor proc with F3 stepping can be get easily. the gem one is lower clocked windsor F3 such as 3800+ F3 really hard to get..dunno why la..... @sharpman u may oc ur proc, but cannot expect high/impressive ocing result as ur mobo got lower Vdimm selection. same case just like me.... u got good proc and rams there, maybe by changing to other mobo u can get good ocing result. but for me, i thinks its ok la to run ur X2 6000+ in stock. really syg la... after going thru this thread now I'm aware of our mobo's limitation but at that time my priority was to get a computer up and running again since I have 3 projects yet to be submitted. Maybe I just oc abit la.. won't go too far.. god willing if got extra money later I'll think about changing mobo...or better get those new gpu to replace my 6800GS This post has been edited by sharpman: Sep 13 2007, 06:24 AM
