Hi, yes we do notice such abnormality sometimes. After you set it, Apply, then reboot the ONT.

Hi,

I have been having issues for past few months with my 5ghz band that intermittent at random time. maybe a day happen 2 or 3 times at different time.

Time technician came and said my laptop was far from router. Last night i move my laptop near to the router but it seems doesnt fix the problem. Intermittent happen again like 10 minutes ago.

Im not having this issue with unifi before. Even i have visit my friend house but the disconnect did not happen using his internet. my laptop are using wifi 6 ax200.. should be ok right?

Is it the router problem?

The TIME installer just installed the HG8145X6 router.
But I noticed the DNS settings is not available, and according to DNS sites the new router is leaking my location, can I know how to change the DNS settings on the router?

Very urgent.

too bad, this router locks you out of that AND also hijacks any attempts at changing your dns on your devices (force redirect)

The WPS is constantly solid lit up when on Router/AP mode.

Dear all, I've been used using Time for the past 5 years. Lately I noticed that my voice call gets distorted intermittently when the other party hear me. The other party was using house phone and not mobile phone as I understand sometimes mobile coverage fluctuated. Also, there are a few people who complained to me that they hear my voice distorted, not only one of them. I made a complain to TIME and they found out high packet lost and that they sent technician over to my house. Technician came, changed the fibre optic connector on the white fibre optic converter box, and found out that it didn't help, ping still over 13ms. Then one of the technician went out from my apartment unit and did something, he came back and tried, ping shows 8-9ms now.

Issue was resolved and I didn't experience any voice distorted when the other party hears me.

These few days, it seems like the issue is back. I tried do a ping and found out response is 13-16ms again. I called up TIME customer service and they said my TP link router given by Time is outdated and needed a flash. They claimed they will push the firmware remotely to my house router. After 30mins I realized no connection dropped and ping still 13-16ms, I called back Time again they said there's an error when they're trying to push the firmware to my router. The agent claimed there's no packet loss from their checking.

I tried to changed to a new Panasonic cordless phone thought it was phone problem but found out it's not, after changed hone still same issue. And the technician who came last time set expectation to me that if the same issue happen again, there's nothing much that they can do.

What should I do?

First of all, I'm not the person you replied the above to but your answer caught my attention.

TIME currently offers the loyalty program (contract renewal) with Huawei HG8145X6.
Would you happen to know, if I renew my contract, does TIME require to take back the current HG8240H ONU?
I'm running a 3rd party router (MikroTik) but I don't mind getting the rebates and extra spare devices (Huawei HG8145X6/WA8021V5).

Hi,

My HG8145X6 was installed today but the installer set up a different SSID and password. I also can't access the router page with the default password. The installer said the password should be the one under the router but it's not working. The weird thing is when I try to access 192.168.100.1 it only ask for the password and not a username.

So I reset the router (holding reset for 2 seconds) and I can now login to it but there's no NEW button in the WAN advance settings and I can't set ng PPPoE.

telecomadmin admitelecom is not working too

Can anyone help setting up the PPPoE?

The current HG8240H ONU will be still served as the gateway.
TIME will setup the HG8145X6 and one unit of WA8021V5.

I have also just renewed my contract with HG8145X6.

I find it a bit weird that in Self Care, the contract period doesn't reflect the recontract that we've subscribed.

In my case, Self Care main page is displaying Contract Period: 08 April 2019 - 07 April 2021

But if I browse through my activities below the page, I did a "Recontract Broadband Plan" on 1 Mar 2021 for 24 months.

Therefore, I'm confused if I'm still eligible for the loyalty program which allows me to upgrade to 300Mbps for RM109 & get a free mesh device. The banner is shown to me when I log into Self Care so I assumed I'm eligible but to be on the safe side, I tried to contact Time CS but no response on the Self Care live chat & FB while 1800-18-1818 is experiencing high call volume.

Yeah I don't see a lot of people sharing their experience on the forum..

Good initiative to upgrade the router for my home, meanwhile also to keep users under their contract for longer period. Speed wise is satisfactory.

But the thing is that the HG8145X6 provided by TIME is pretty much locked (obviously), so I have contacted the TIME to schedule another appointment to come over my house to modify the DNS settings on the HG8145X6.

just give a call to CS i think they can set it up remotely
if u r directly using it as AIO modem + router then u might need to reconfigure the verification for ur ONU , for my case
My area using password to verify , and the password is same with my PPPoE password
