My family don't use much. Normal tvbox aotg, youtube, some online chinese movies. Net surfing and VPN to office use.

100Mbps was sufficient before even upgrade takes place.

I just want to know from anyone who have downgraded too 100Mbps if they encounter anything worst than the original 100Mbps before the upgrade.

So far OK.

I used this Router in our Office - wireless signal strength very capable - at home I'm using the Tenda AC-15 previous generation - very good also.

For the price you're paying for this router, I believe its very good.

Average, what you pay is what you get. smile.gif

Much better than the 850L but not even close to C3150 level.

Looking for a budget router alternative to replace my crappy TPlink ac1200.
As long as it can be more stable (ac1200 restarts at least once a week with low erratic speed) and deliver acceptable wifi/LAN speed.

You may get the Tenda AC18 as bro blacktubi mentioned.

You must get your PPPOE Details ready.
Let me know when you need guide to set it up.
I helped someone to setup Tenda router before.

Thanks.

If you are on Home Lite and Home Max, how do you check the minutes used or minutes balance?

Guys, I just install Time Fibre 100mbps today. I am using home plug to connect to my pc in my room, I only can get 33.4mbps download speed and 45.9mbps upload speed. Any idea what is the problem not getting upto 100mbps speed? Home plug problem? Home plug cable problem ? The home plug stated can reach upto 500mbps.

Could be home plug technology limitation. I’m using AV2 1200mbps plugs and I can only get around 150-200mbps internet at the study room.

I'm planning to migrate to Time, anyone knows if they throttle/block torrents and IPTV? Need those for downloading Linux distros and watching RTM TV1.

Home plug or power line is very unreliable and is susceptible to electrical interference. I would not use it. It can reach up to 500Mbps only on paper. In real-life, forget it lol.

But it according to FUP.
