Thanks

Wow. I just returned from a long holiday just excited to try the new upgraded speed to 500MBPS but doesn't have any changes where WIFI download speed for 5Ghz is at 80mbps.
I am still using the first GPON modem but the router I upgraded myself to an Asus RT-AC88U. I thought it might be the 100mbit cable connecting to the router is the issue so I changed it to a 1gbit cable but still no difference. Do I need to request to change the modem? I am an early Time customer so the hardware is the oldest generation. |

Try to perform LAN Cable connection and see whether you can get full speed over LAN. Your modem is the black color one?I am still using the first GPON modem but the router I upgraded myself to an Asus RT-AC88U. I just did a LAN cable and it did go to 500mbps.What's the model number of your ONU? Over Wi-Fi, it is possible to achieve that speed unless 3X3 MIMO receiver devices. Thanks. Now I wonder what's the problem with my WIFI router. This Asus model is supposed to be a high end version. Need to look for end to end issues. Thanks! |

Thanks. |

QUOTE(orb666 @ Oct 26 2018, 01:01 PM) @blacktubi I'm not expecting it to be the same with a wired connection. I am aware of the limitations. I'm just asking if anyone is experiencing this and if it is normal. Zenfone 3 comes with an older and slower WiFi chip, your speed is about right after take into consideration of overheads. @ralyon Can you share your configuration on the 5Ghz setting? As of now I'm the only one using the internet here in our condo unit. I'm using my Zenfone 3 and still can't get atleast 200Mbps @ 5Ghz. I'm also testing it beside my router. |

Jus something out of context, you can get a poe-picker device to power your mesh nodes.Few things to note : -- operating voltage/power for your mesh nodes, that will determine you should go for Poe/poe+ etc. -- determine type/quality of ethernet cable present Thanks. |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Oct 26 2018, 05:09 PM) I see, the manual is a bit different as TIME firmare is different than the default firmware for this unit. Thanks! Good to know. There is no manual based on the TIME Firmware. If you have any questions, feel free to post it here, or email/pm me, will guide you on that. Thanks. One more question. None of my devices are using much bandwidth and I'm thinking 1gbps is too much but I just got my dir882 router upgrade. Is there penalty if I downgrade to 500mbps plan? My contract got renewed as well to 24 months. |

I have my plan upgrade from 100Mbps to 500Mbps for free.
I am seeking any feedback from the users here who have their plan downgrade to RM99 from RM139 per month for 100Mbps. Any major differences in term of speed and performance? |

If you are on the 500 Mbps plan and using the AC-1200 router, what is the maximum speed you can achieve on wired?

Normal tvbox aotg, youtube, some online chinese movies. Net surfing and VPN to office use.100Mbps was sufficient before even upgrade takes place. I just want to know from anyone who have downgraded too 100Mbps if they encounter anything worst than the original 100Mbps before the upgrade. |
